Product Pitch: A pack of Barbie Signature swappable hands for every pose imaginable (because how are you supposed to hold a pen with an open palm? 😭). I mean… Mattel doesn’t offer them but we see pictures like this on BarbieStyle IG! Makes me feel bad we’d never have what they post! 😂
Other doll brands do it (some 1:6 scale action figure bodies have these too)… I’m surprised Mattel is not banking on the idea because I know there will be people who’d spend money on these.
Would you want Barbies and Kens to have swappable hands?

Barbie Basics Model 10 is growing on me 😭 the first time I saw him, I wasn’t very happy with the broccoli hair but seeing clearer pics now, perhaps he isn’t so bad (still hate this overused hairstyle, sorry).
I’m REALLY REALLY EXCITED for Wave 2! Hope to see them in person soon!

Barbie Basics Model 6 looks so pretty! Not a fan of the fashions (I’d have loved a flat waistband vs scrunched look; and why is the earring NOT a metallic gold?? 😭) but her face is nice. We’ll know more details when they finally get released in more places but all the comments aside, I’m excited ♥️

Mattel’s launch calendar for Barbie!
Lots of releases this month! Fortuna dropped on the 6th. Anyone know what the other three are? I’m guessing the Basics dolls will come out on the 12th but I’m not sure about the rest.
Any guesses?

I decided not to get the $100 Fortuna doll and will probably just do another restyle instead like I did here with Odile. I don’t think I will regret it, considering that I might need the budget for Basics Wave 2.

Here’s Lina (Looks 1) with her restored curls. 🤎 Her hair wasn’t in a good condition for a while so one boring day, I decided to work on restoring her curls. She looks really good with them vs straight (3rd pic for reference) and brings out her features. Last pic is her judging Barbie in winter wear. Lol

Same face mold, different vibes 💛🤍 I saw the upcoming Goddess Barbie and I thought, “Wait… she looks familiar.”
Then I remembered this reroot and restyle I did almost two years ago. 😂 Anyway, I’m floored by the price tag of the new doll tbh. $100 is just 💸 and it’s hard to justify spending it on one doll when there are more releases coming up. 😭
