Today, we remember those who gave everything for our country, those who never made it home, and those who continue to serve and protect our freedoms.
Memorial Day is personal for me. I think of my grandfather, a Vietnam veteran, whose strength, sacrifice, and love helped shape the person I am today. I still remember the day we laid him to rest and watched the military present our family with the folded American flag. It was a moment filled with pride, gratitude, and heartbreak.

I miss him every day.

To all who served, to all who continue to serve, and especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice: thank you. Your courage will never be forgotten, and your legacy will live on forever.
God bless our heroes, and God bless America.
