🌀2025 STATS🌀
Internationally, this year was quite active, with 118 total (sub)tropical cyclones, 50 Category 1+ cyclones, and 9 Category 5s, the strongest of which being Melissa. Senyar was the costliest and deadliest of the year, taking up much of the yearly total.


As long as there are still tropical cyclone deaths, I will continue doing my best to help prevent them! Let's hope 2026 will be calmer!

Tropical Storm #Ditwah is beginning to exit #SriLanka, where the northern parts of the country could see additional Moderate Impacts. Moderate Impacts in the form of flooding are also expected for the SE coast of #India.

Tropical Storm #04B is moving over far NW #Indonesia right now, where it is expected to deliver MAJOR Impacts in the form of flooding. The system then will move SE towards #Malaysia where it will eventually dissipate.
