The Department of Mechatronics from Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore was established in the year Academic Year 2011-2012.The Sanctioned Intake of students raised from 60 to 120 since 2013. 7 Batches have passes out successfully. The department, apart from the undergraduate program, is engaged in many other activities such as industrial consultancy, Industrial training, Research, Organizing seminars and conferences. Well-trained faculty members with experience in imparting knowledge to the students are grouped in this department.
A conducive atmosphere is created to enable the students to enjoy the maximum benefits out of the available state-of-the-art equipment’s and fabulous infrastructure. Undergraduate students are encouraged to undertake various research projects and encouraged to spend time in neighboring industry. The department offers design and manufacturing-based engineering curriculum.
