Hallow Jesus

Many people are afraid of the book of Revelation.
Why?
Because it speaks of judgments, plagues, trumpets, and seals that bring destruction on the earth.
The horsemen… the trumpets… the bowls of wrath.
It sounds terrifying, doesn’t it?

But here’s the truth…
Revelation isn’t just a book of horror.
It’s a book of hope.

Yes, evil will be judged.
Yes, Satan and all darkness will fall.
But in the end — the Lamb wins.
Those who belong to Jesus are called victorious, chosen, and faithful.

So don’t fear the end…
Trust the One who holds it.

📖 Revelation isn’t the book of the end… it’s the book of victory.

The church of Laodicea thought they had it all:

“I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.” (Rev 3:17)

But Jesus saw the truth.

“You are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.”

They were neither hot nor cold — just lukewarm. And Jesus said:

“I am about to spit you out of My mouth.”

Laodicea represents the danger of comfortable Christianity.
They had lost their fire, lost their urgency, and didn’t even realize their need.

But Jesus didn’t give up on them.

He said:

“Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.”
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.”

Even in their compromise, Jesus was reaching out — knocking — waiting for someone to let Him in.

🔥 Today, many live like Laodicea…
But the message is clear:
You don’t need more comfort. You need more of Christ.

Among all the seven churches, Philadelphia received one of the most encouraging messages from Jesus.

“You have little strength, yet you have kept My Word and have not denied My name.” (Revelation 3:8)

They weren’t known for power… but for faithfulness.
They may have been small — but they were strong in spirit.

Jesus says:

“See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

Why?

Because even in weakness, they held on.
They stood for truth.
They endured with patience.
They didn’t compromise or deny Him when it was hard.

Jesus promised them protection during times of testing — and eternal honor in His presence.

“I will make them a pillar in the temple of My God.”

This is a call to stay faithful, no matter how small or overlooked you feel.
Your endurance matters to God.
Your quiet obedience is seen by Heaven.

🕊️ Hold on to what you have, so no one will take your crown.

The church of Thyatira was known for its love, faith, service, and perseverance. Jesus Himself commended them for their growing works. But even in the midst of so much good, there was a deep problem: they tolerated what should not be tolerated.

A woman—symbolically called Jezebel—was misleading God’s people, bringing immorality and false teachings into the church. And many were allowing it, hiding behind “love” and failing to correct what was wrong.

This is the danger of love without truth.
Jesus calls us to love, but never at the cost of holiness.

He says, “I am He who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.” (Rev 2:23)

To those who remain faithful—who do not follow false teachings—Jesus promises authority over nations and the morning star.

So today, ask yourself:

🕊️ Are you standing firm in truth, or silently tolerating compromise?

Let’s love with boldness, but also with the courage to confront sin with grace and truth.

The Church of Pergamum (Revelation 2:12–17)
Pergamum was a faithful church living in the midst of darkness. Jesus acknowledges that they lived “where Satan’s throne is” yet held firmly to His name and did not deny their faith, even when one of their own, Antipas, was killed for standing with Christ.

But Jesus also brought correction. Some in the church tolerated false teachings—compromising with sin and blending worldly ways with holy truth. He warned them to repent or face judgment.

This message is a powerful reminder for us today. You may be standing for Jesus in a world filled with compromise, corruption, and spiritual confusion. But He sees your faithfulness. Still, He also calls you to examine your heart:
• Are there areas where you’ve allowed compromise?
• Have you been silent when you should speak truth?
• Are you trying to mix the world’s values with God’s Word?

Christ is calling His church to be pure, bold, and unwavering. Hold fast to Him. Do not be ashamed of His name. Reject false teaching. And remember: to the one who overcomes, Jesus promises “hidden manna” and a “white stone with a new name.”

You are not forgotten. You are called. Stay faithful. Stay set apart.

Imagine Jesus speaking directly to your church.
What would He say?

In Revelation 2, Jesus speaks to the church in Ephesus. He begins with praise:

“I know your works, your labor, and your patience…”
“You have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false.”
“You have persevered and have endured hardships for My name…”

They were doing everything right on the outside.

But then comes the piercing truth:

“Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.”

Despite all their good works, they had forgotten the most important thing: their deep love and devotion to Jesus.

Jesus doesn’t just point out the problem—He offers a path back:

“Remember where you have fallen from.”
“Repent.”
“Do the works you did at first.”

The message is clear: Your actions mean nothing without love.
You can serve, preach, and labor—but if your heart is cold toward Christ, He notices.

And here’s the warning:

“If you do not repent, I will remove your lampstand from its place.”

[Cut to imagery of a flickering candle going out]

But for those who overcome, the promise is beautiful:

“I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”

“Your passion matters more than your performance.”

Who Are the 7 Spirits Before God’s Throne?

In Revelation, John speaks of seven spirits before the throne of God. What does that mean? Are there 7 Holy Spirits? No. This is a symbolic way to describe the perfect and complete nature of the Holy Spirit—with all His attributes operating in fullness before God’s throne.

According to Isaiah 11:2, these seven attributes are:

• The Spirit of the Lord
• Wisdom
• Understanding
• Counsel
• Might
• Knowledge
• Fear of the Lord

These are not separate beings, but one Spirit—perfect in power, presence, and purpose.

That same Spirit now dwells in you through Christ. 🙌🔥

5 Ways Jesus Speaks To You

1. Through His Word — the Bible is His voice in written form.

2. Through prayer — not just when you talk, but when you’re still and listening.

3. Through obedience — He’ll speak more when you follow what He already said.

4. Through dreams and visions — yes, He still speaks supernaturally.

(Joel 2:28 – “Your sons and daughters will prophesy… your old men will dream dreams.”)

5. Through peace in your spirit — His voice never brings confusion or fear.

So how do you hear His voice daily?

1. Open His Word.
The Bible is the voice of Jesus in written form.
No Scripture = no clarity.

2. Spend time in prayer — not just talking, but listening.
Ask Him to speak.
Then be still.
Let Him lead your heart.

3. Obey what you already know.
Why would Jesus give you new instructions…
if you haven’t obeyed the last ones?

4. Stay close.
Sheep hear the Shepherd best when they’re near.

The voice of Jesus is always full of truth, peace, and direction.
Tune out the noise… and tune in to Him.

⚔️ How to Respond (Not React) as a Christian:

• Discern, don’t accuse.
→ Ask God for discernment (1 Corinthians 12:10). Don’t jump to conclusions.

• Pray and intercede.
→ Jesus said “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).

• Confront in truth when needed.
→ Ephesians 5:11 – “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

• Protect the flock.
→ If you’re in leadership, quietly address and guard the body with wisdom and pastoral authority.

Yes, deception can enter the church.
But we are not called to fear witches — we are called to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, in truth, and with discernment.
