Devs announced two characters who will appear soon in the game together: Luffy Gear 5, Momonosuke Shogun. Is Momonosuke a free event character or only obtainable through donations? We'll find out soon. UPD: Both characters will be as a ticket selective banner. You'll be able to choose one of two characters to get first. The Chinese community has ensured that both characters have a 100% drop rate the first time you pull them, as I understand it. So, after you've chosen Gear 5th Luffy for the first time and gotten him with a 100% chance, you can choose Momonosuke next and also get him with a 100% chance. Then, the percentages for each character alternate. If you pull a character you've already got, the chance will be 50/50, the third time 100%, the fourth time 50/50, and the fifth time 100% and so on. That's roughly how I understand the system, but I could be wrong.
Happy New Year everyone! Let's ride this year like jockeys, riding a fiery horse. May every step you take be marked by a flame that will be remembered for years to come. Move toward new achievements, move toward One Piece!
Alongside with Boa Hancock skins, a new arena on Amazon Lily Island was added to the game. However, access to this arena costs 68 yuan... Devs continue to insist on paying for access to new arenas, but here's an interesting fact: data miners found this arena in the game files two years ago, if I remember correctly, and there were even screenshots, but the release happened only now... I think you understand my position about paid arenas. I've played on the Whiskey Peak arena only once since its release because my opponent bought it. This is a very questionable monetization. Idk maybe devs don't care about the effort they put into creating an arena that only 2% of players will play, while the rest will forget it even exists. Why in a game where the only gameplay is PVP (devs have forgotten about PVE), devs are willing to create a diverse environment only for money? What kind of nonsense is this? Your game literally has nothing but PVP, so give people variety simply in term of environment. The change of landscapes has a positive effect on the player's perception of the game, especially when the game turns into a daily routine. This is not a normal practice at all, I have never seen anything like this in the gaming industry, where in fighting game devs ask you for money to buy a new arena. Just look at The Hidden Ones that already had 4 PVP arenas during testing, i mean what's wrong with you OPFP devs? Our game is almost 5 years old and we only have 3 free arenas (I'm not counting the weather variations, one of which is paid...), it's just a shame...
I'm sure many of you have already seen Wano Hawkins showcase from devs. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed, moreover Iam disappointed and have some questions about the character's development. Why did OPFP Navigator video, which showed skill icons, feature two skills that simply aren't in the final version, but during devs showcase they featured a skill that wasn't in the video? I think you understand why I even raised this question, it's truly weird and it raises questions not only about the character itself and his design, but also about the decisions of the team handling marketing and social media promotion. Isn't it clear that people can have questions and negative reactions already at this point? Now, regarding Hawkins himself. Devs failed to surprise me at all, except for the fact that they decided to implement a "horse" into his gameplay. I won't talk about his skills, which look boring. I was struck by how devs didn't innovate with his cards, but simply tied number of skill uses to cards (the more cards, the more skills). This is the most ridiculous decision that could have been made when you have a character who literally relies on card effects. Furthermore, Hawkins lacks any ability to restore HP or transfer damage, making this character completely unrelated to what was shown in the anime. As a result, we got a character who has no effect at all from using cards (the strawman variations are just nonsense and a clear lack of creativity) and who seems to have forgotten that he can use the lives of other people to protect his own. Instead, we got a character who can spam the same skills over and over again. Bravo, devs, very creative.... I don't understand how devs could waste a character's potential by simply creating such a correlation between cards and the number of skills... I rarely write posts about characters after devs showcase, but I simply can't help but express my disappointment... it's terrible.

Its time for characters rewind. Unfortunately, the number of characters released this year differs significantly from previous years. What awaits us in 2026?
Comparison:
2025 SS+: 0 / SS: 18 / S: 1 / A: 3 / B: 0 / C: 0
Total: 22 characters
2024: SS+: 1 / SS: 21 / S: 6 / A: 0 / B: 0 / C: 0
Total: 28 characters
2023: SS+: 0 / SS: 18 / S: 7 / A: 1 / B: 0 / C: 1
Total: 27 characters
2022: SS+: 3 / SS: 15 / S: 11 / A: 1 / B: 1 / C: 0
Total: 31 characters
