Update on the Turkish C-130E model crash yesterday was actually carrying 20 extra people because it was carrying F-16 spare parts. Those 20 other people wear believed to be F-16 mechanics. The black box was also recovered but R.I.P to all that were killed

Annoying Tactical Dude

Rip to everyone who died in the Turkish C-130E model crash earlier today. It’s really sad not only because it’s a plane crash, and people died but the C-130 community hasn’t had a fatal crash for a while. The tail number for the plane was 68-01609 which if they didn’t change the tail number that that would mean it’s a E model which is also older than the H model. If you don’t know the j models are actively replacing the slightly older H models so that just goes to show the age. Another way I can tell it’s a E model is because it has circular windows on the paratroop doors which if you don’t know they are the doors paratroopers mainly jump out of. There were also 4 officers and 4 non commissioned officers on board so rest in peace to the 8 people that died.
