So I made a video last week in which I suggested the possibility that Metatron might be buying subs to stay above 1M subscribers. Yesterday I was told on my discord that he went below, and sure enough he did (look up previous post).
But not only did he go back to above 1M within hours, he fell back under AGAIN, then went back up AGAIN. Twice he went below 1M, twice he went back up, in less than 24 hours.
A challenge with looking at sub count on YouTube alone is the more you have, the vaguer the count is. Like below 1K sub, it shows the exact amount, but from 1k to 10k, it only shows the decimal, so 1496 and 1491 subs will both display at 1.49k even if there's a difference of 5 subs.
Above 1 million, the decimal is for every 10k subs, so you could have 1 009 999, or 1 000 001, and they will both show "1M", so Metatron being stuck at 1M for 5 months straight means it was likely going up and down within a 9000 subs margin, and yesterday it finally went low enough to actually show.
So I went on subscribercounter.com for a relatively accurate live count (its current count of my main channel is off by 1 sub), and it's telling me Metatron basically gained 700 subscribers over night.
So after going below 1 million TWICE in 24 hours, suddenly he gets a 700 boost? From where? Some shitty video with 4k views and an AI thumbnail? He made no calls to action anywhere as far as I know, nothing of his is currently going viral, his average views did not spike and in fact, they have been steadily declining for months.
700 subs just like that? I'm calling it, he's almost CERTAINLY buying subscribers.
