Got to check out the Toyota India Urban Cruiser HyRyder. Variant - V Neo Drive (Mild Hybrid)
Things I liked - ~The exterior design is very different from that of its twin the grand Vitara. ~Well Equipped base variant, only lacks a Audio system and rear wiper. ~Brilliantly efficient 1.5 3Cyl hybrid motor by Toyota mated to an eCVT. I got around 17km/l on my test drive of the hyryder. ~The Hybrid variant has an affordable "S" variant priced at around 18L on-road
Things I did not like - ~Rear seat is best for 2 adults. Space is also not the best ~Interior Quality similar to that of a Suzuki vehicle rather than a Toyota. ~Hybrid variant has a smaller boot capacity thanks to the battery. ~Certain Feature are only available on the Hybrid variant, like ventilated seats.
Overall I really liked the Hyryder it's made a brilliant first impression but I'll reserve my final verdict for when I get to review it.

Thanks to my friends over at Hyundai I've come to know that Hyundai India is planning to make the 1.0L Turbo GDi and iMT combination exclusive to the N-Line variant.
Meaning the normal variant of i20 will comprise of 1.2L Petrol MT/CVT 1.0L GDi DCT 1.5L Diesel MT
While the N-Line will retain the 1.0L GDi iMT/DCT
When and if this change will take place is not certain for now so take this news with a pinch of salt.
