Tis the season for pulp horror! Also, if you’ve been 2d20-curious lately like I have been. Any fans of the system?

Have you ever felt nostalgic for something you’ve never experienced? Even if you didn’t care about it at the time it was popular. That’s me right now.
I’ve been willing to dive into choose your own adventure style books lately for whatever reason. Do these books need videos?! Whether it’s a flip through or play-through?

I've been asked a few times about ways to financially support the channel. Admittedly, I had a preconcieved notion about when that was appropriate to consider. I started a substack and I'm sure someday I'll start a patreon, it's inevitable. I have not set up affiliate links but I'll look into so it's an option for those who want to partake. In the meantime, I did set up a buymeacoffee page! No obligations at all, I'm just happy to talk nerd shit with you guys.

Tales from Elsewhere Clockworld RPG is live on Kickstarter! Looks awesome and there are plenty of videos on Peter’s youtube channel by the same name with a lot of information on it. Looks like it’ll be my jam.

Going on a little business trip and I’m hoping to get some solo play in while I’m there. Looking for something small, simple, & solo self sufficient. If you have a different suggestion, drop it in the comments.
A few others I considered but I’m limited to only 4 choices:
- Ironsworn
- Mork Borg (CyBorg, Pirate Borg, Death in Space)
- White Box: Fantasy Medieval Adventure Game
- Viking Death Squad

I’m happy to report that they have finally found a way to do it, that’s right ladies and gentlemen…there is a GOOD Fantastic Four movie!
The first iteration (2005 & 2007) wasn’t terrible but was overshadowed by other similar movies of the time. The 2nd iteration (2015) was the only time I walked out of a movie theatre angry so I was kinda hesitant to see this one.
This third iteration did not disappoint and they mainly did it by leaning into the Fantastic Four “vibe” instead of trying to make it “cool”. On top of that, they told an excellent story with it that went beyond some of the cheap MCU jokes and nostalgia tactics.

New Drivethru haul came in! I’m a spoiled American who hates paying shipping so anytime I want to order something, I have to order more than one thing. It almost always goes like this:
- One item pushes me to start the order.
- One item gets added from my wishlist.
- One item gets added randomly last minute.
It’s pop quiz time, match the term to the associated book. Regardless of why I bought them, they all seem like great books so far!
