I love reviewing new and cool gear, and I have always had a passion for photography and video. Oh yeah, I love getting out and exploring, so there are some of those videos as well.
I have been involved with video since I was young, and then in college I began learning how to edit and not just film. I also started working with a great mentor in Cliff Williams of Argyle Multimedia. Since then, I have worked to expand my skillset to include several different types of cameras, including DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, traditional over-the-shoulder video cameras, Insta360 cameras, GoPros, and even drones (I am Part 107 certified, and also completed my TRUST certification).

I enjoy the opportunities I have to work with all of our trainees and PIs at the Immunology Center of Georgia, but Ishita is one of the best at simplifying her research so someone who is not based in science can understand it better.
Ishita is developing a blood-based approach to identify immune cells associated with cardiovascular disease risk, with the goal of helping clinicians detect danger earlier and improve patient outcomes.

The sixth video in this series of 8 leading up to the Ignite event. Sometimes you end up with way more material than you can use, and that was the case here. Alaa is great at explaining her research, and she shared so much, but I could only use so much. I hope to get to use more of her interview at a later date.
