Today, we pause to honor and remember all the brave men and women who have served our country — including the countless ballplayers who traded their uniforms for military service.
From Ted Williams, who flew combat missions in two wars… to Jackie Robinson, who broke barriers both in baseball and in the Army… to Roberto Clemente, whose compassion and courage transcended the diamond — their legacies remind us that heroism comes in many forms.
This Veterans Day, we salute every veteran whose sacrifice made it possible for us to live, dream, and play the game we love. 🙏

Hoy, hacemos una pausa para honrar y recordar a todos los valientes hombres y mujeres que han servido a nuestro país, incluidos los innumerables jugadores de béisbol que cambiaron sus uniformes por el servicio militar.

After a night where the Arizona Diamondbacks pummeled the Colorado Rockies 14-8, it was still somehow difficult to maintain focus on the final score itself.
Diamondbacks' third baseman Eugenio Suárez 🇻🇪 recorded a career milestone at Coors Field Friday night. With home runs in back-to-back at-bats, Suárez joined the ranks of the 300-homer club.
Eugenio Suárez now ranks in the top 3 amongst Venezuelan born players in MLB history with 301 career Homeruns only trailing, Andrés Galarraga (399), and future Hall of Famer Miguel Cabrera (511).

Yankee star Aaron Judge's 🇺🇸 .390 batting average entering June 14 ranks as the highest ever for a player with 20 or more home runs at this point in a season. Second on that list? Mickey Mantle, who was batting .388 with 21 home runs in 1956. Babe Ruth appears on the list twice, and Judge is ahead of both of those iconic seasons.
Hall of Fame Catcher Iván Rodríguez 🇵🇷 appears on this list as he had 21 Homeruns and was hitting .378 going into the mid June of that season.
