"Capturing the Past, Inspiring the Future."
Archives of IT (AIT) is a registered UK charity born out of a passion for preserving the heritage of the UK's tech sector whilst inspiring future generations to develop their STEM skills and consider STEM-based careers.
Since 2015, we have captured over 275 video interviews with UK technology pioneers, from 1950s computing pioneers to today's leading technologists. These interviews are held in our online βarchiveβ, now an important research tool, and are free for all to access via our website and YouTube channel.
We are the only organisation in the UK ensuring these important oral histories aren't lost forever. Just as importantly, we transform these authentic stories into educational resources that inspire young people who may lack access to relatable STEM role models.
