For those who may not know, Candid is not my name. It is the mission of this channel. I started this channel thinking that I was going to base it around mindset, but I quickly found that I needed to say the things and tackle the topics that most people avoided.
I don't do this to be mean or inflammatory. I don't do it for likes or clicks. I am sure my channel grows more slowly because of it. I do this because I've learned that facing hard truths can lead to admission, accountability, healing, and growth. We cannot fully and completely change as a society without understanding the root causes that brought us to this point.
This means... the conversations we have here won't be easy. This means... being comfortable with being uncomfortable. This means taking personal accountability even if you claim to be on the right side of history.
On this channel, we must walk through the pain of truth to get to the path of healing and change. I appreciate you for taking this journey with me. 💙🫶🏾💙

I hate it when I feel this way... A feeling I can't shake or explain. An emptiness full of unease. The feeling that something isn't right. Something just doesn't sit right in this case.
I usually avoid speaking about these types of matters because it hits too close to home as my own growing son is in ever more danger with every passing day. But something is wrong here and silence is complicity.
My heart aches for this family. I'm sorry you are living your worst nightmare. 😔 I hope you at least find justice.
