Make Me Mad, the official music video, from The Motion Picture "La Plage" is out on all platforms. Make Me Mad is Nora Polinnia's long-awaited audiovisual collaboration with Ukrainian director TKACHENKO. Presented is... a story about love, indifference, passion, acceptance, and first and foremost, endings. Yet, throughout the release of the project, Nora's stance remained: 'I Don't Die For Love,' - a train of thought that revolves around using heartbreak as a vessel for self-transformation, as opposed to prolonged suffering.

It is so surreal to me that it has been more than a month since the release of my 7-minute track Mass Hysteria and the Free Of Propaganda Gallery Spectacle... and we're still working each day with how to promote it and get the word out! It seems that this type of work and action will last all throughout winter. And then... in the Spring I plan on coming out with a new project. Trying to keep it active and keep on moving.

My new, very special track MASS HYSTERIA, with my long-time collaborator Martin Nikov is out today into the world. This is perhaps the most pleasant release day I've ever had, I feel elevated and encouraged to keep going. It's been a very very rewarding process. Specifically because now, more than ever, I'm learning to enjoy THE process instead of focusing just on the result(#mature .) This beautiful cover art was drawn by my friend and roommate Chris Ha - an alien girl to match this alien song. I was scrolling through Chris' art account and noticed this image. I couldn't help but want to use it for the cover of Mass Hysteria - we reimagined it and now it's green! So exciting.

A week and a half since the release of the Midnight Boy NYC Smoggy Lyric video... a long title but time runs fast. So, maybe the longer people take to read the title, the longer they will stay with Midnight Boy? To celebrate one week since the release of the video, I put out, having montaged it on my own, a review of the video... one that my manager, Cattie Carrol, filmed. The video was meant to contain constructive feedback and well deserved compliments, however, ended up establishing that the entire work needs to be reshot? 🤔🔥

MIDNIGHT BOY the video is OUT NOW🎉🎉 available on the web(my youtube channel)✨🪩 and we happened to call it the SMOGGY NYC LYRIC video, because it was smoggy and clearly made in new york🍏 This title truly appeared at the last minute... calling a video just 'lyric video' doesn't seem to be invigorating enough anymore, nor descriptive. We shot this on the day New York was the most polluted city in the world, it was an apocalyptic atmosphere to the core. However, near the water everything was much clearer😏 Enjoy.

It is through great pleasure that I announce the release of a new lyric video to my song Midnight Boy😄 The song itself was released more than half a year ago, however, we got another shot at creating a visualization for it and so... that is what we did. The video comes out FEBRUARY 2ND💍 It features some very entertaining twists & naturally, the lyrics to the song MIDNIGHT BOY;)

The new year had begun! So... that means that new music is on the way. Which is, as always, quite exciting. This morning my mom, dad and I worked on a new 'character' who will promote my music. Perhaps, this is the way? To create another character out of yourself who will be the one constantly talking and working to push forward your music? With just a tiny bit of humour and satire😀 2024 will be the year of self-mockery🤞

This week we are continuing to work on a certain lyric video, one which is dedicated to a song that was released fairly long ago. We shot a video for this track a couple months back, however, got to the editing process only now... everything moves slowly. Soon, I realised that, sadly, there was not enough footage for the video to be a full scale 'music video,' only a lyric 'mood video.' Right now I am at a loss regarding how to properly package the release - the video does not match any holiday theme, nor does it feature a song off of my most recent EP. We shall see🤞👵👵

I am still posting reels on instagram almost everyday. Still. Currently, my tactic is dressing up as the one and only Madonna - this is a form of powerful manifestation I believe. Perhaps, if each day I dress as a pop icon.. I could become one soon😀 Next up: Sandra. Once again, I am attempting to get over how slowly everything is happening, or so it appears. Maybe it just seems that way. I am at the start of working on a 'political cartoon' series - I shall see how it will go😏

Always a wonder... how to maintain an album's relevance months after it comes out. Right now, I am still focusing on reels. Just as I was a week ago, and two weeks ago. Not much else available for now. However, I am slowly but surely 'launching' a new series on my youtube. I don't necessarily expect anyone to watch them, or for many people to watch them at least, but I think they might add some good sense of branding and that of a unique selling point to my work😏 Last weekend I went to Joshua Tree to write some new songs with other writers. Now 30 more people in the music business are aware of my existence and half of them of my music. Very good.

Every new release always leads to amateur shoots, whether it be on an emergency stairwell, a college dormitory hallway, or the Brooklyn bridge. This time around it was the first two. With the help of my devoted roommates, I managed to collect footage for at least two weeks worth of instagram reels😁 And, write that my new EP Present Chronicles is 'out now!' on at least two front doors of student dorms. In general, I have been typing out a lot of 'out nows' all throughout my enthusiastic social media pages. When will it be time to stop? One might never know. Yesterday I spent three hours filling out a survey about Present Chronicles to, in the best case scenario, receive a grant from my university. We shall see how that goes...😏
