🏥 Health update! ❤️‍🩹
In August, Mauri received antibiotics for an ear infection. While the infection cleared up, I noticed he continued to scratch his ear occasionally. The vet recommended we do a CT-scan to see if there is something in his ear causing the infection. The scan revealed Mauri had accumulated liquid behind his ear drum, which needs to be surgically removed. Few days ago, Mauri had his operation, and I'm pleased to report that everything went smoothly. Mauri is expected to make a full recovery.

Although the cause of the infection remains unknown and there is a possibility of recurrence, for now, everything appears to be alright. 🤍
