Realized my Twitch link was outdated so updated that, and also added a link to my FA account, where I’ve uploaded at least most of the art I’m involved in. Don’t know if anyone subscribed to me actually cares about either of them, but just in case lol. Maybe will add other links if I think of ones that are relevant, but I don’t plan on adding most of them, just the ones that matter.

My cough that’s been keeping me from consistently streaming the past 2 months has come roaring back once again, by the way. I haven’t forgotten, and I plan on doing more the instant I’m able to, but at the moment it’s just not happening.

Meanwhile, let me talk about my plans - how successful some of my streams have gotten makes me want to go for a much better death count in terms of Hard Mode than I initially planned, like sub-10. I don’t know, to be honest, I’m just going to go until I feel satisfied. For reference my current PB has 58.

After that, I plan on doing a single segment “pacifist” run, where I beat as few enemies as is possible - then getting sub-hour in Normal Mode English, which will require learning entirely new strats across the board, but is entirely doable. So I have a good ways to go before I’m done here. Once I’m done with that I’ll be officially done with Cave Story.

As for what’s next, I’m deciding between either going back to Celeste for the remaining golden berries, or going on to Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 for both all achievements and getting hitless runs of Mega Man 9 Hero Mode, Mega Man 9 Superhero Mode, and Mega Man 10 Hard Mode. All of those Mega Man runs would be, as far as I’m aware (and I’ve checked), first time ever.

Both Celeste and Mega Man will probably be months-long endeavors if not longer, so it comes down to which one I’m feeling more, which changes constantly. I don’t want to juggle both, but doing Mega Man makes me feel like I left Celeste incomplete, while doing Celeste makes me feel like I’m wasting my partner’s money, since he bought it for me. So both have pros and cons.

Either way, I am nowhere near done with everything I want to do - this doesn’t even include Super Mario RPG Armageddon, which has been in the back of my mind for so long after I essentially quit most of the way through. Even though I only have the hardest stuff left, it still feels wrong, and I want to complete that beyond all reasonable doubt, and even make a scripted edited video of it once I can.

After all of that? Honestly, it’ll probably be 2027 by the time I finish all of that, if not 2028. And a lot can happen in 2-3 years, so I have no plans for challenge runs beyond what I’ve mentioned. But needless to say, there will be something.

So I just found out that my latest video had comments disabled. And I have no clue why. Had to reupload it entirely to make it work, but I *think* it works now? I hope?

So uh, videos might not be coming out for a few more days. Personal things are going on that are making me a bit afraid to stream and do other things, a.k.a. I might be getting stalked online. Going to need to recover, get all of that figured out, and so on. Might be a while before I do anything again.

Okay, so.
I’ve decided what I’m going to do next.
And it’s going to be long, a lot longer than my previous playthroughs.

I’m going back to Cave Story. And instead of just doing a Hard Mode playthrough, I’m going for all achievements. Which will require something like 4-5 runs to get all the mutually exclusive achievements, and Hard Mode true ending is going to be the hardest thing I’ve ever done, SMRPG Armageddon included.

But I’m going to commit to it this time. There’s enough resources out there for me to look at, and unlike before, where I tried to do as much on my own as I reasonably could without looking up any answers, I’m going to use absolutely everything at my disposal to win.

I’ll see you there. I don’t know when next stream will be, probably a couple days from now, and I’ll upload the VoD right after.

I’m going to cry. Like, actually cry.

Turns out everything I did might have been for nothing after all. The charger might have been the problem all along and the battery was never an issue. And if not that, then the computer’s charging port is fucked.

Everything’s fallen apart. And now I have to spend even more money.

So, tried to replace the battery on my laptop, see if maybe that was it. Now the thing doesn’t start up at all. So many reasons it could be going wrong and none of them are good.
