A shocking incident has come to light in the Ashiyana area of Lucknow, where a 21-year-old son shot his father dead and then dismembered the body in an attempt to destroy evidence.

**Identity of the deceased:** The deceased was identified as Manavendra Pratap Singh (approximately 49–50 years old), who was the owner of “Vardhman Pathology” and also involved in the liquor business.

**Accused:** The police have arrested his 21-year-old son, Akshat Pratap Singh.
