The deliberate thumbing of the scale when it comes to gerrymandering isn't new, but it's the most blatant it's ever been. It's also dangerous to embrace so openly and while it's a good thing that gerrymandering remains UNBELIEVABLY Unpopular, fighting this sort of thing is going to take a huge cultural effort.

That being said, there are limits to what the gerrymander can swim upstream against. Right now the political environment is TERRIBLE for Republicans and it seems to only be getting worse. The question is, how will the margins look and who will jump into the ring, and how will that effect the precedents in American Politics.

Some of this was recorded earlier in the week but my studio is pretty much near up and running(soundproofing still needs work). So Sundays episode should be sharper. But in this episode we go over some of the biggest stories we missed and we STILL got a lot more to talk about.

Trumps had a lot of bold moves in the last few weeks but has suffered quite a bit in terms of soft power. Understanding that dynamic is important.
