Prof Marloes Peeters is a Dutch chemical engineer living in the UK. In 2023, Marloes started as Professor in Engineering Biology at the University of Manchester. She leads a research group with an interest in sensing, particularly focusing on materials that are inspired by nature "biomimetics". Videos in the channel will cover topical issues such as antimicrobial resistance, feature experiments you can do at home, and introduce people working in her lab. Fantastic to see our collaborative #research project #ARiaL with King's College London (lead Dr Tim Witney), Oxford University (Dr Bartek Papiez) and the University of Cambridge (Prof Robert Rintoul) highlighted by the government for its effort to tackle hard to treat #cancers.
