finally, itโ€™s 28. ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿค

And somehow, this year my birthday falls on Raksha Bandhan too.๐Ÿฅน

So, Rishabh Bhaiyaโ€ฆ this one is for you. ๐Ÿค
I don't think I've ever publicly written about what you mean to me.
And today is actually the first time I'm tagging you on YouTube.
Not because I want you to comment.
Not because I'm expecting a reply.
Not because I want anything from you.

I'm tagging you simply because just in case you ever see this, I want these words to reach you too.

I've always had one little emptiness in my life of an elder brother.

I've wished for that bond before.
Someone to look up to, learn from, annoy, fight with, learn from ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ž
And then you entered my life a few days before my birthday last year.
At that time, I obviously had NO idea that one year later I'd be sitting here on my birthday + Raksha Bandhan, writing a whole emotional paragraph and casually declaring you my bhaiya. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Because yesโ€ฆ
I made you my bhaiya.
No application.
No interview.
No consent form.
Bas bana diya. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

But jokes apartโ€ฆ
Somewhere along the way, you became someone I genuinely look up to.
You gave my life a direction I didn't even know it needed.
You made me want to dream bigger, work harder, and become someone I'm proud of.
And that's something I'll always be grateful for. ๐Ÿค

Maybe you'll never know how much you've influenced me.
And that's okay.
I don't need a reply.
I don't need a comment.
I don't even need you to see this.

But just in case you ever do, I want you to know that there's a girl somewhere who had always wished for an elder-brother bond and, from her side, somehow found that feeling in you. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

Sooo
Happy Raksha Bandhan, Bhaiya. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿงฟ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

Thank you for unknowingly giving me inspiration when I didn't even realise I needed it, filling that empty space of my heart and for being someone I can proudly call my bhaiyaโ€ฆ

even though technically, you were never given a choice. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

finallyโ€ฆ itโ€™s 28. ๐ŸŽ‚โœจ

And somehow, Iโ€™m sitting here thinking about how much can change in just one year.
A little flashback...the girl I was last August, the things I was scared of, the things I overthought, the dreams I was still figuring out, and the version of me who had absolutely no idea what the next year was going to bring. ๐Ÿฅน
I changed. ....... My priorities changed.
My dreams became clearer.
Some people stayed, some became memories, some became lessonsโ€ฆ and somewhere between all of it, I became a little more me. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

Iโ€™m still learning, still growing, still figuring things outโ€”
but Iโ€™m genuinely proud of how far Iโ€™ve come.
Maybe Iโ€™m not where I thought Iโ€™d be, but Iโ€™m definitely not where I started. ๐Ÿคโœจ
๐Ÿฅน๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ’—
Also, the universe really said โ€œletโ€™s make this birthday interestingโ€ because my birthday is on Raksha Bandhan this year. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

So first of all, Happy Raksha Bandhan to all my pearls who call me their sister. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป
I genuinely feel so blessed to have you all. The love, the little messages, the random conversations, the supportโ€”you guys have given me a bond Iโ€™ll always be grateful for. ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿงฟ
And to all my pearls who are texting me todayโ€”
Iโ€™m really sorry if Iโ€™m unable to reply to your messages today ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคง
because obviouslyโ€ฆ birthday ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿ˜…
Please don't think Iโ€™m ignoring you. Iโ€™ll get back to your messages as soon as I can. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

For now, let me just enjoy my day.

I was randomly sitting last night, and then this one thought just came into my mind ๐Ÿ’ญ I donโ€™t know why, but it stayed with me for a while๐Ÿฅบ and somehow, the more I thought about it, the more emotional it felt.

I kept thinking about the day Sir finally decided to leave the Army. ๐Ÿ˜ž And I think sometimes people see it as justโ€ฆ โ€œhe left.โ€ But it obviously wasnโ€™t an overnight decision. From what I understand, it was something that happened slowly because of personal and family reasons, and I really feel like as outsiders, we can never know what actually goes on behind a decision like that ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

So when I see people casually saying things like โ€œhe couldโ€™ve stayedโ€ or โ€œhe just left,โ€ I honestly feel likeโ€ฆ we really donโ€™t know enough to say that ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿป Leaving something that has been such a huge part of your life canโ€™t possibly be that simple.

Because just think about the journey for a second ๐Ÿฅน That young boy who probably once had a completely different life in his head, then getting into NDA and IMA, going through all that training, becoming an officer, choosing that difficult path, entering the Army, then going into Para SF and actually clearing probation โš”๏ธ Likeโ€ฆ he didnโ€™t just randomly end up there.
There were YEARS of effort, discipline, dreams and probably a million little moments that made him the person he became โœจ

And thatโ€™s why I kept imagining his last official day. Everything completed. The resignation finally done. And then maybe looking at that uniform one last timeโ€ฆ ๐Ÿฅบ and suddenly getting this tiny flashback of that younger boy who once dreamed of wearing it.
The same boy who had absolutely no idea where that dream would take him. And now heโ€™s standing there after actually living it ๐Ÿซ

Maybe thatโ€™s the part that got me. Not the fact that he left, but the thought of him looking back at everything he had lived before walking into something new ๐Ÿ˜ž Because leaving doesnโ€™t automatically mean that you stopped caring.
Sometimes life puts you in a position where you have to make a difficult decision, even when your heart has been attached to that life for years ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

And honestly.. Iโ€™m sure the upcoming years are going to be SOO good for him A different chapter doesnโ€™t have to mean a lesser one. He has already lived such a crazy journey, and I genuinely hope whatever comes next brings him a LOT of happiness, peace and good things

And obviously, this is just my perspective and what I was thinking. I donโ€™t know what he actually felt on that day, and I would never claim to. Weโ€™re outsiders, and thereโ€™s so much of his personal life that we simply donโ€™t know ๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธ So please donโ€™t take this as me speaking for him or assuming his emotions. It was just a thought I had last nightโ€ฆ and somehow it hit me WAY harder than expected ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’—

Phool tum par achhe lagte hain,๐ŸŒธ
Toh kya tum bhi gulaab ho?โœจ
Kyun dekhu main chaand ko,
Jab tum khud hi lajawab ho?

Hawa tumhare baalon se guzri,
Toh kyun ruk gayi chalne?๐Ÿ’—
Phool tumhe dekh kar khile,
Ya tum khile toh phool lage khilne?๐ŸŒท

Aankhein tumhari kuch kehti hain,๐Ÿ‘€

Kyun na likhun main tum par,๐Ÿค

Maybe ๐Ÿ’—admiration isnโ€™t always about wanting to know someone personally. Sometimes, itโ€™s simply about being grateful ๐Ÿ’—that their journey happened to cross your screen.๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿซ
There are people youโ€™ve never met,๐Ÿ’— people who probably donโ€™t even know you exist,โœจ yet somehow their presenceโœจ becomes a small part of your everyday life. ๐ŸฅนYou watch them grow, see the changes, notice the little things, celebrate their achievements from a distanceโ€ฆ and somewhere along the way, their journey starts meaning something to you.๐Ÿ’“โœจ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฅบ

And honestly, I find that kind of admiration so beautiful. ๐ŸฅนYou donโ€™t always need a conversation or a personal connection for someone to inspire you. Sometimes you just see the way they carry themselves, the things theyโ€™ve achieved, the person theyโ€™ve become, and it quietly makes you want to do better in your own life too.๐Ÿ’—๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿป

They might never know that they inspired someone. ๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธThey might never know that a random video of theirs made someone smile after a bad day, ๐Ÿฅนor that their journey became a source of motivation for somebody sitting miles away.๐Ÿค

And maybe thatโ€™s the sweetest part of it ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค you can be genuinely grateful for someone without needing anything from them in return. ๐ŸคJust happy that, in this huge internet full of people, somehow their journey found its way to your screen. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿค

Anyway, this was just a random thought I had today and I felt like sharing itโ€ฆ donโ€™t ask me why my brain suddenly got philosophical ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚
