🫘 New video is live!
”You're Missing Out If You've Never Made This — Japan's #1 Gut Superfood: Homemade Natto"
Natto is Japan's #1 superfood — and for good reason.
Bacillus subtilis breaks down protein into amino acids your body can actually absorb.
Live bacteria reach your gut and support it from the inside.
It's one of the most powerful fermented foods on the planet.
And you can make it at home.
Most people think it's impossible outside Japan.
But all you need is soybeans, natto bacteria, and time.
In today's video, I show you two methods —
including one that works anywhere in the world. 🌍
Full recipe in the description.

Did you know your body might be wasting nearly half the protein you eat? 😮
I just dropped a new video breaking down the science — and why Japanese fermented foods have been quietly solving this problem for over 1,000 years.

Also... I'm currently in the kitchen testing something special for next week.
Japan's most iconic convenience store egg sandwich — tamago sando —
made with a fermentation secret that makes it even better.
Stay tuned! 🍞✨

New video is live now.
"Heating destroys the benefits of fermented foods."
You've probably heard this.
It's only half true.
Even after bacteria are inactivated by heat,
their fragments still reach your gut —
knocking on the door of your immune system.
In 86% of trials,
heat-inactivated bacteria were just as effective as live ones.
Live bacteria → balance the gut.
Heated fermented foods → signal the immune system.
Both reach your body. Just differently.

🎭 A Classical Music Concert at a Historic Noh Stage!
I attended a wonderful classical music event at the historic Noh stage—a venue deeply rooted in Noh, a traditional Japanese performing art with over 600 years of history.
The Noh stage is covered with a large roof similar to those of ancient Shinto shrines. Built from specially treated Japanese cypress wood, the stage produces distinctive acoustic effects. In this solemn and majestic atmosphere, I experienced truly beautiful music.
What made this experience even more special was seeing so many international visitors enjoying the fusion of Japanese tradition and classical music together.

I took a trip to the ocean with my family.
A calm sea, where I felt the quietness and beauty of nature.
In life, we sometimes feel overwhelmed and afraid when faced with turbulent waves.
Yet we also have the strength to leave those rough seas behind and journey forward toward this kind of peaceful, calm water.
Both are who we are.
Both are beautiful.

New Video — The Hidden Philosophy Behind Japanese Food
In Japan, even a simple meal begins with a quiet moment of gratitude —
hands together, eyes closed, and the words “Itadakimasu.”
It’s more than manners.
It’s a reflection of harmony, respect for nature, and mindfulness in daily life.
🍚 This video explores how Japanese people find spirituality in everyday meals —
and how food itself can become a form of meditation.
