This is the project I worked on, it's Structural Reform and Cadre deployment.
This project's objective is capacity building by inspiring young artists like myself to express their grievances and opinions with artwork projects, new works and digital/traditional arts through social media platforms to promote social cohesion and nation building. Addressing issues in regards to municipal failure running rampant not only in my hometown Rustenburg but in South Africa as well. The knight is structural Reform symbolising focus on constitution/policy framework, strengthening of state owned institutions, focus on professionalisation and efficiency and promotion of the system based on merit and qualifications.
The three headed dragon is Cadre Deployment symbolising party control, loyalty to political party, focus on allegiance to the political party, enabling corruption and incompetence weakening state owned institutions.
It's inspired by Saint George and the Dragon.
