A few peaks into building our home!!! It's been an incredibly busy couple of months for me. Except for the heavy lifting where I've needed a team, I've done 75% of the work on my own. We have built this from the footers under the foundation up to this point, entirely on our own! A lot of people said I would/could never do this. Here's your 🖕 🤣

Fiadh has been growing so fast! She's only 5.5 months old and fits her leg dog sized pack!!! She's absolutely enormous! A little update on the house, WE HAVE OFFICIALLY STARTED BUILDING! We made our own footers for the piers and are currently working on custom foundation brackets and laminated 5x12x36 beams. A lot of progress really fast and we are so excited about it! I think all 4 of and the animals are ready to not live in a tiny cabin anymore!

Tractors and beers just seem to go together... WE HAVE A HOUSE SITE!!!! I moved, spread, and graded about 45 tons of earth to build up the house site. Sarah and the boys helped a lot by pulling roots and sticks and rocks. Fiadh is growing insanely fast! Shes just over 5 months old now and already 65 pounds! She's a lot like road crew workers who just watch the guy on the machine do the digging 😂
We are so excited and blessed to finally be at this part of our off-grid journey! I think all 4 of us are done with living in the tiny cabin. Getting ready for foundation construction!!!

This LS MT226E has been a game changer on the property! We've been digging stumps, moving concrete chunks and slabs, moving big log sections and brush out of our way, and hauling the dirt ball kids up and down the driveway in the loader bucket! The skid steer quick attach on the front loader is awesome to have! I'm really excited to get a grapple for this tractor! The pallet forks have probably been on the tractor more than the loader bucket just because.of house much I've been using them! Only 10 hrs on the machine so far but it's been an absolute blessing to have out here!!! Shorts content and full length vids coming soon!

Hey everyone! It's been a while! Meet Fiadh! I have been incredibly busy working on Cryptid Cripples with Daniel and we have some very exciting things happening over there. I will have something very exciting and highly educational coming to HPO! My current pack dog, Sydney, had to retire this spring due to her age and a tendon issue in her back leg. So I had to go get a new pup to train up as a working/pack dog. She's a 11 week old saint Bernard/dogo argentino/ Staffordshire mix and currently weighs a whopping 25 pounds!
It's been about 17 years since I trained a dog to the extent she will be taught so it's going to be a challenge. My last 2 working dogs trained off their predecessors, that's not an option for this pup. But Fiadh is a very fast learner and she's very eager to explore new things with no fear.
This pup will be learning to guard, carry packs, pull sleds and carts, and most importantly to assist my movement over terrain with balance/steadiness training.
Nobody is coming to rescue me so I got a dog that will be more than capable to get me out of the woods if I'm injured and have the size to do it safely for her.

Hey everyone!! I havent forgot about or left Half Pace behind!!! Daniel and I have been having a really awesome kick off with our new channel Cryptid Cripples! Last weeks episode took us to the most haunted railway tunnel in the state of Ohio. We had some truly terrifying experiences while we were there. We established real communication with one of the spirits and confirmed her presence in the tunnel and I had something grab me!
We would really appreciate it if you guys could give this a watch and a like! This is by far one of the best videos I have ever put together and so far the scariest place we have been!!! Thanks everyone for the support both here and at Cryptid Cripples! I have a solo fae hunt coming VERY soon where I followed one from the old horse barn all the way to the back of our homestead into the pine forest beyond our land. Keep an eye out!!!
