5 years in… and whew, this health journey has been anything but cute 😅 but it’s been REAL. Over the past five years, it’s been a long, hard road trying to maintain, stay focused, and stay consistent. I’ve tried multiple diets the “life-changing” ones, the trending ones, the “this time for sure” ones… yeah, all of them 😭. Some worked for a season, some didn’t at all, but every single one taught me something about myself.

I don’t have a one-size-fits-all routine or secret sauce, because truthfully? I’ve failed plenty of times and had to keep picking myself back up. And honestly, that’s the part people don’t post. The restart. The setbacks. The mental battles. The learning curves. But I’m committed until I reach my ultimate goal not just weight loss, but being healthy through it all, mind, body, and spirit.

Transparency is hard. Discipline is hard. Consistency is even harder. But I’m choosing progress over perfection and grace over quitting. And I don’t mind sharing along the way because I know for so many of us… this journey looks exactly like this.

Hello My Name is Ashley Thompson and I’m Ms. Twin City ( Winston-Salem) Plus America.

My Platform is: “Living Outside the Box in Creativity”

It is important to me to have a safe space for now and future innovators to be themselves authentically. Through their creativity they can use what they know to help others grow and when life challenges arise I want them to continue to inspire through their art unapologetically. Prolific people should be celebrated and honored for their gifts & talents. No matter the age, race, gender, nor size.

From January to April (4 months) you can vote for me as “People’s Choice”. It is $5 per vote.

The state pageant is March 18 in Winston Salem. Virtual tickets are $20, in-person tickets are $40.

I believe that I can do multiple and be successful if I put in the work and dedication. It may not be forever one however I live having a space where creatives can be free and safe in their creativity and thought process.
