I also wanna shed light on my two videos I posted around 2 weeks ago - before what has now happened in Bondi Beach.
I talk about how unpredictable peoples behaviour has become. I have worked in customer service for many many years & I don’t think some people understand truely just how insane the shift has become. The way people get extremely angry over the smallest inconvenience. I could & can feel the emotions boiling up. It’s scary.
The sad part is - I talk about the Australian way. I talk about - the thing that made me fall in love with Sydney is the chilled lifestyle & just heading down to the beach on your days off, relaxing, feeling content, people watching, grabbing a coffee, taking a cold dip. I talk about how I am learning to seperate the people being angry & talking down to me at work to people just out & about enjoying their beach day. I talk about how I am no longer avoiding being around people & making the most of being by such a beautiful beach full of lovely people.
Then on Sunday, this happened. (I’m not going to go into detail on here but I’m sure everyone has heard the news)
I’m not going to go into it anymore but I hope you will watch these videos & it will help you to understand our lifestyle here in Sydney & how the beach, especially Bondi Beach is a place people go for happiness 💛 🌞
