TAAQADEMY uses a combination of on-the-road experience, expert schooling, and just plain old love to offer customized classes, courses and workshops in music for everyone from complete beginners to advanced players. Guitar, Keyboard, Bass, Drums, Vocals – we’ve got it all covered.
Have a band but don’t know where to rehearse without ticking off your neighbours (or worse, your in-laws)? Come to TAAQADEMY! Our fully equipped, sound-proofed jam rooms let you make as much of that fabulous noise as you want.

After a well-received first outing, the Taaqademy Workshop Series returns (by popular demand!) with a repeat session of our ‘History of the Electric Guitar’ workshop.
The tale of the Electric Guitar, an instrument that has dominated popular music across the 20th century, is one that brings together people, society, culture, economics, innovation, engineering - and of course the musicians that used it to create lasting magic.
Presented by award-winning guitarist and songwriter Bruce Lee Mani (front man of Bangalore band Thermal And A Quarter and co-founder of Taaqademy), this workshop is a fun, interactive session open to all.

Taaqademy has produced a student’s full-length album for the first time EVER!
Introducing @lishasebastian— a singer-songwriter currently studying contemporary music at the University of Colorado Denver. We worked extensively with Lisha to put together one of the most introspective, thoughtful, and musically capable projects we’ve heard in the last year. She describes her album, Sworn to Secrecy, as “a young woman’s journey through darkness and light, through strangeness and complexity”.

Last month, Taaqademy student @twesha_ghosh released her first ever original song into the world! ‘Khoyi’ was produced, mixed and mastered at Taaqademy by our founder Bruce Lee Mani, and features Noel Prashanth on piano (seen on stage frequently alongside Bruce and Rajeev with TAAQ these days...).
Khoyi is an immersive, meditative track - and we're sure it'll be the beginning of a long musical journey for the very talented (and synaesthetic) Twesha. Here's wishing her the very best!
