Baiyun Mountain is the "lungs" of Guangzhou and an oasis for many people's hearts. It is difficult to describe its feelings in one word. It is like a polyphonic symphony. Different people and different moments can hear their own melody in it. The breath of nature and the panting of the city The comfort of greenery: once you step into the mountain gate, the hustle and bustle is instantly filtered. The dense shade of trees, the moist air, and the fragrance of grass and trees are like a gentle filter, temporarily isolating the city's heat, the roar of traffic, and the pressure of work. With each step upward, the lungs seem to open wider, inhaling the sweet breath of soil and plants, and exhaling the accumulated turbid air and fatigue. This physiological relaxation is immediate and direct. The alienation and connection of overlooking: standing on Mount Davis or the mountaintop square, the city of Guangzhou is spreading under your feet. High-rise buildings are like building blocks, the Pearl River is like a jade belt, and traffic shuttles silently. This overlooking angle brings a wonderful sense of alienation - the huge monster that you are usually in and busy with becomes small and quiet at this moment. But at the same time, you clearly know that you are connected to the blood of this city. It breathes under your feet. You are a part of it, but temporarily detached from its daily torrent. This feeling of being both outside and inside is very subtle. In summary, the feeling of Baiyun Mountain is three-dimensional and flowing:
It is a healing place for the body - green shade, breeze, negative ions. It is a pressure relief valve for the soul - a bird's-eye view, a space for solitude, and the rhythm of nature. It is a museum of time - the thickness of geology, the fragments of history, and the current prosperity are intertwined here. It is a kaleidoscope of life - there is the vitality of sports, the comfort of leisure, the warmth of gathering, and the philosophy of solitude. It is not steep and unique, but with a gentle, tolerant and close attitude, it has become an indispensable part of the lives of Guangzhou people. Climbing it is not only a physical movement, but also a spiritual journey of returning to the mother nature, absorbing energy, and sorting out the inner heart. Every time you go up the mountain, the feeling may be different, but the tranquility and relief brought by the greenery, breeze and broad vision are often the common background.
The feeling after climbing Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain is often a mixture of physical fatigue and spiritual satisfaction. It is a unique experience of "exhilarating despite being tired". Here are some common feelings that may resonate with you:
"Lung baptism" and body release: The refreshing feeling of fresh air: Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by dense forests, every deep breath is like a deep cleansing of the lungs. The smell of soil and plants after rain is particularly refreshing. The feeling of clarity after exercise: Whether it is hiking for several hours or climbing Mount Davis, after the body reaches a certain amount of exercise, the feeling of slightly sweating and accelerated heartbeat brings a sense of relaxation that releases stress and toxins. Although the legs and feet may be sore, the heart is refreshed.
