I'm currently attempting to paint a series of horror and dark pop culture acrylic pieces ... ( but be warned sometimes I snap and have to paint all the freakin colours of the rainbow to compensate. )

I've been so moved by the memories of the past, childhood toys, and graffiti of late... I was starting to feel stifled by my art and a need I have for perfection and ... trying to produce realistic images...
Expectations of a beast 😅
I know it's meant to inspire children... but I'm a woman child, and Monster High is 🤌🤌
**You're the artist! You make the rules!**
I cut it out of the first ever Monster high dolls box I'd bought myself as an adult... and stuck it up as a reminder to not take shiz so freakin seriously!
Since it's been up on the easel, it's taken me places artistically, I'd never have gone without constantly seeing it mid fits of paint and passion .... Mantras, Motos, and Philosophy ... are all food for artistic expression... everywhere I look in my house, I have some form of written word to tickle and stimulate the folds of my creative mind at all times.
Art isn't one moment.... it's the whole day, week, month of experience... expressed in formative strokes of a pencil, pen, can, brush... ect..
You are....what you eat...
You are.....what you consume.
