Hey y'all,
I just wanted to make a quick PSA about my stance on AI songs/beats and how it relates to my channel and other producers on the platform. I have been creating beats since 2021 and my goal has always been to create high quality dark pop beats since the beginning, especially back then when I was making After School type beats on a shitty $200 laptop. Unfortunately with the rise of AI it has been harder and harder to tell what beats are AI and what beats have genuine human creation. My channel as well as a few other in the Melanie Martinez and dark pop space as a whole have had our beats taken from us and used to make AI songs and/or fake leaks of melanie martinez, sub urban, bella poarch, and many other artists. I DO NOT CONDONE THE USE OF MY BEATS IN ANY AI WORK. I have my beats free for profit and/or free for non profit so that real, human artist have the ability to use my beats for demos or songs, not for people to steal them, without credit, and either pawn them as their own or make an AI song out of them to trick or confuse others. This is my only channel, if you see any channel using my beats for AI songs or pretending to be me and/or my channel please report them or at the very least let me know so I can handle it.

If you are an artist please ask before using a beat or go through the proper channels (in this case Beatstars) to acquire a free to use license for the track. If you are using the beat commercially please buy a license for it as I and many other producers spend a lot of time crafting these beats. Please also credit me or any other producers beat that you use so that more people can find the beat or channel.

To my producer friends and other producers on this platform, please make sure you are protecting your beats in whatever way you can. Add beat tags to your work to prevent it from getting stolen (for me personally I use three tags per beat) and keep up to date as much as you can to where your beat is going or who is using it. If you have the ability maybe even copyright the beat until it is sold so that people can't steal it for themselves or use it for AI.

To the people who steal beats or use beats for AI, please stop using beats without asking for permission or at least crediting the producer properly. You are ruining some of the protentional growth for a bunch of producers as well as even ruining reputations if the beat is used for a fake leak or AI songs. Most producers like ‪@prodbytaskio‬, ‪@ProdPecky‬, ‪@thisislunaris‬, ‪@yunglittleangel‬ and many others put a lot of time in their beats and do NOT want their works in any AI songs or leaks. You hurt producers by stealing their work and using it for your own gain. Especially since Melanie Martinez and other artist have already came out and said they don't want their names tied to AI.

I know this is a long post but it is needed to be said. To all producers, artists, and even just music fans thank you for supporting each other and for all of the amazing stuff that you do for/on the platform it would not be where it is without you and for the others who steal/use beats for AI or otherwise please stop you are just hurting genuine creativity.

NCB (Non-Copyright Beats) TERMS & FAQS [SUBJECT TO CHANGE]

ABOUT
All beats labeled as NCB are free to use for profit and can be used for any work if the proper steps are followed.

All uses of NCB's are to be credited in 2 ways - firstly the link to the beat must be put into the description of the upload (for releases that don't have a space for a description - this does not apply). Secondly all uploads must credit me as the producer either in the title or in the description using either a channel link, @, or (Prod.).

All uses are to be non-copyrighted - you can upload works to whatever platform and gain profit from them - however you can not content ID (Copyright) the beat in any capacity - failure to follow this rule will result in immediate removal.

BEATS FAQs & INFO [SUBJECT TO CHANGE]

This post contains everything from cost of beats to proper use of for non profit beats.

All beat prices are based on length and complexity (as well as stems). There is also a difference between exclusive and unlimited licenses - more about each type will be listed below.

Exclusive - Full commercial use (including Copyright ID), no credit needed, can only be sold/used by you for profit.

Unlimited - Limited commercial use (meaning you can release it on all platforms for money but you cannot Copyright ID the beat), credit required, can be sold to other unlimited license users as well as to an Exclusive license holder. Either I or the Exclusive rights licensee can request takedowns of the beat and/or songs that the beat may be used for/in.

Minutes [Exclusive Licenses]
1 - 2: $5
2 - 3: $15
3 - 4: $25
4 - 5: $35
5+: $45

Minutes [Unlimited Licenses]
1 - 2: [Unavailable - Only Exclusive]
2 - 3: $10
3 - 4: $15
4 - 5: $20
5+: $25

Complex beats have an additional $1 - $5 depending on the length of the beat and stems add an additional $5 (1 to 4 minute beats) - $10 per beat (4+ minute beats). For example, a 2:03 minute complex hyperpop beat with stems will cost $22 instead of $20 and a simple 2:03 hyperpop beat with stems will be $20.

If you purchase an unlimited license and want to upgrade to an Exclusive license - please email me (email listed below). You will only be charged the difference for the beat not the entirety of the exclusive license (for example if you bought an unlimited beat for $10 and the exclusive beat is $25 you would only be charged the $15 difference).

FREE FOR NON PROFIT applies to all of my beats and can be great if you want to get a feel for the beat or if you want to be able to release music without having a license for it. However, with any FFNP beat please keep in mind that you MUST credit me (Prod. Melanie Maiden) in either the title or description and it can only be uploaded to unmonetized platforms (Youtube, Soundcloud, etc.). There is not an untagged version of any of these beats unless you buy a license for it.

NCB (NON-COPYRIGHT BEATS) - These are beats that can be used FOR PROFIT that are untagged and can be used for any work. As always you MUST credit me as the producer in some way and you have to put a link to the beat in the description of your video (if applicable). These beats CANNOT be copyright ID'd under ANY circumstance and CANNOT be purchased.

Any beat purchased exclusively will be removed from the channel.
