Art + Motivation.
I'm helping inspire artists with unique takes on creative issues, while becoming an artist myself.. Follow me as I document, drop facts and record my journey to, successful artist or the welfare line. I’m all in. Come along, see what happens.
My name is Walter Viveiros, a.k.a "shadow artiste". I'm a mixed media artist from Toronto, Canada. I hope to inspire, inform and help you, to also build a brand around what you do, not by having years of experience, but by example, doing it, grinding it out day by day. With enough time, I wish to capture a true authentic story about art, passion and gritty determination. I promise to be real, honest and hopefully entertaining every step of the way. Let's go!

Hi, everyone
I'll be celebrating hitting 20K subscribers soon with a special giveaway! 🎉
Put the kids to bed—this is going to be wild! (Okay, maybe not that wild.)
I’m sending one lucky supporter from my members area a one-of-a-kind piece of my early experimental work. This isn’t part of any official series—it's a unique piece of history. And since I’m never quitting, who knows what the future will hold? That’s the best part!
Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss this!
This piece is a set of 3.
Plaster, stucco, spray paint, ink and acrylics on 3 8" by 10" wooden panel boards.

SATIRE!!!
Hi, Everyone.
The only 3 things that will exist in 30 years…
-Distractions
-Medicine
-Marijuana
Keep the head sharp and keep creating. I battle this every day…
Here’s some tips that will help you…
1. Practice mindfulness. Sounds hard? It’s not. Just sit in one place, don’t do anything, relax your head and breathe.
2. Limit Media. Pick a time or two in the day to catch up on social media. That’s it. Done!
3. Maximize sleep. Good rest cures a lot of issues, helps energy, clarity and focus.
4. Set a specific goal. This should take care of all the extra time you have. Focus it on yourself.
Stay strong! Let’s go!

Hi everyone.
I decided to make a little pivot and focus my channel into a resource for artists. I want to make videos full of education and motivation for all creative people around the world.
I’ll still make some entertaining stuff and add some vlogs to keep everyone up to date with my own art career, but I’m going to dive in on valuable education from the field, as I’ll be out there on the battlegrounds.
Today I uploaded an art class here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5G8P...
It's on getting a logo for your brand before you even begin, it’s a good one.
Here are some rough drafts I sent to the designer on Fivrr of my logo a while ago, before I got it perfect, well good enough. It wasn’t that easy, but I got it done. Nothing easy is worth it. Let's go!
Check it out...

Hi everyone,
As we begin the new year, let's all remember the old people in our lives and what we can learn from them, those wise elderly.....
What?! What do you mean!? I'm one of them now? Arghhh.
I made this cool video on the BIG stuff we can learn early, you know, before it's too late.
Check it out here on my channel- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wzLp...
Check this out.
YouTube allows you to test 3 thumbnails, to see which one gets more attention. I guess "funny shadow artiste" doesn't seem to do well, lol. The more serious thumbnail got chosen, so now I got stuck with these two corny thumbnails hanging around...
Thought I'd share them with you. 😊
Imagine that, I got all dressed up for nothing...

Hi, everyone!
Just wanna wish everyone a great Christmas and a special warm thanks for all the support this year, with this crazy idea.
Considering I just got in front of a camera for the first time, less than 6 months ago, I've come a long way.
The journey was a lot easier with all the positive feedback I get from you guys. Don't stop.
I'm truly trying to deliver the highest quality, most honest advice I pick up along the way, in art and in life because unfortunately I've been around the block a couple times... lol!
Oh yeah, one more thing. On top of my videos, I'm thinking of adding a vlog type series that is more like "day in the life stuff", not so produced and slick, kinda like just talking while driving. That way I can talk about other things around art, like life...
Let me know that you think about that in the comment, when you have time of course. I know, it's frigg'in Christmas eve!
Love you guys, sorry and girls, I really should stop saying that...
Merry Christmas!! I wish you and all you loved ones health and happiness for a long, long time.
Thanks for your support,
See you next year!
Lol. That never gets old...

Hi, everyone.
Been busy creating content, just not so much art. I got a bit side swiped by a 100k video only 4 months into this thing. Didn’t expect that.
I guess that’s a good problem to have. I had to restructure things around here to accommodate the new content creator/artist lifestyle. Arghh, crazy. I was struggling with this, every time I’m making content, I feel like I should be making art. Every time I make art, I feel like I should be recording it and making content. Back and forth, back and forth, like that for a couple months.
I’m the type who likes to dive in and focus on one thing at a time, so I decided starting this month I would dedicate the first 2 weeks to producing content for the month. Spend the last 2 weeks just focusing on my art. Separating them, that way I think will work out better for me…
Hope your enjoying the video’s
As much as polls help me, in the end I always change my mind and make a video about what I’m into at the moment, that way it’s a bit more fun for me.
Here I am, about to wrap up 1 month of content. 3 Youtube videos, 3 thumbnails, 16 shorts, 4 classes and a dozen pics, whew! Grinding away, don’t be lazy. lol
Now, I’m diving into 2 weeks of making art, ahhhh.
Throw me some ideas for video’s. I can never have too many.
Bye, for now…

Hi everyone!
Thanks to everyone who participated in my poll on what type of videos you like. Looks like it's going to be a mix of all three. This is super handy in deciding the direction of my channel, I appreciate it. 133 votes too, sweet!
Next video should be up next week. I'm going to be bringing the mentality of athletes and business to the art world, bring it up to modern expectations. Well, I'm gonna try at least.
Then I'll up load a sample class from my members area for everyone to check out. It will be long, just me sitting there talking about my art and how I put my style together. It will seem different from what your used to, a bit more buttoned up and proper. If you can image that?
After that I'm stumped...
Since it will be following an educational class, I wanna make something fun and wild.
Help me.
What video should I make?

Hi, everyone!
This is for all the new people getting here.
I'm currently preparing to open an online gallery and just about to start soliciting and selling art pieces to collectors all over the world, but then I thought; why do it alone? Why don't I bring other talented artists along with me? Show them how to get here, detail every step of the way and beyond, teach and pass along the detailed information in real time, as a move forward through the current art landscape.
I have read every book, watched every video and even got ripped off, with an art marketing course on my way here. The amount of information, knowledge and skills I have gained is enormous and should not be kept to myself, it should be passed on to other artists, to assist them in their success. I'm looking for soldiers who want to be the next big thing.
If you just got to get your shit together or you're just starting your first portfolio. You just got lucky! The time has come to dust off those old paintings, drawings and creations and finally turn your dreams of being an artist into reality.
