I don't want to compare a legend, genius Ilaiyaraja with ARR.

Maestro Ilaiyaraja should be only compared with Nino Rota,Ennio morricone, Francis Lai, Gerry Goldsmith,Alex North,Ron Godwin...etc 100's.... alike Maestros.

I grew up listening to Nino Rota,Ennio morricone, Jerry Goldsmith,Ron Godwin, Alex North, Francis Lai.. hundreds....then only later i was introduced to Ilaiyaraja's music.

My childhood days were with legends of world music.

They all have set the highest standards in music which in India i can ONLY find in Ilaiyaraja's music.
