Welcome to my channel!
I live in San Antonio, Texas. I was born and raised here.
As a kid, we took family trips in our little 17 foot Shasta travel trailer.
Where did we go??
All around South, Central and North Texas.
As an adult, I want to see more of Texas now.
In February of 2024 I purchased a Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer and we hit the road immediately, taking weekend trips to State Parks.
We'll cover those trips among other things so come and join us (and our cat Cooper).
This is my journey of enjoying life and rediscovering my home State.
Because.....WHY NOT??
There's a whole lot of Texas and a whole little of me, so LET'S DO THIS!!

Stay tuned this Sunday morning for my Guadalupe River State Park video! Sorry for the delay but it rained that entire weekend and it made for a little bit of a more time consuming video to put together.
Wet, rainy, humid and muddy, this was a first for us but we made the most of it and had a great time! I’ll be focusing on this park as well as how my first year on YouTube has been. We also happened to be there the same time another YouTube channel was there so you’ll see that meet up!
I’ll also be discussing the July flood because it’s something I feel strongly about.
So set your alarms for Sunday morning at 7:00am to tune in!

Well, I'm sure everyone has a milestone in mind when starting a YouTube Channel. I suppose for some it may be 100 subscribers, 1000 subscribers, a million views, watch hours etc, etc. Mine was a little different. Allow me to introduce Cynthia, standing between Mrs Switchback and I.
This was our first "recognition" in public. We were having lunch at Sea Island Shrimp House in San Antonio and she approached to tell us that she watches our channel and it helped her when she went to Bastrop State Park.
