Wanted to jump on here and let you know that I'm still getting over the last few symptoms from the bug I came down with last week, and so therefore I will unfortunately be skipping tomorrow's usually scheduled Tuesday stream. My apologies, but I don't think congestion and regular coughing are going to pair too well with a livestream!

Hey all—

Wanted to offer a quick update on a video I released earlier today, titled “Do This NOW To Prepare For The Division 2’s New Season!” This video is no longer available for viewing, as I’ve de-listed it due to some concerns raised by those of you who watched, and commented.

Now, on the one hand, many expressed worry over the idea that the game might reset everyone’s Open World maps to hostile at the start of the new Season— making my suggestion to go around capturing Named Zones before then null. Rest assured that I did wonder that myself, and made sure to check with a source on the Dev team to confirm that that would not be happening before I set out to make the video.

Besides that, however, there were a number of valid points raised in the comments. What about the passive hostile takeovers, and weekly Black Tusk Invasions? Would doing this ultimately hinder progress/speed of completing the Journey? How do you know that this Season’s Scout objectives won’t require Control Point/Named Zone completions? These questions caused me to realize that there were too many unknowns with the advice I was offering, hence my decision to remove the video.

This isn’t a scenario I’ve dealt with before, as most of you know I value research and preparedness in my content very highly! In all honesty, this past week was a hectic one, and I should have opted to go an extra day or two without releasing a video, instead of pushing forward on one that I wasn’t 100% prepared for. I apologize to anyone who felt misguided by the video’s recommendations. At the same time, I want to thank everyone who rightly pointed out the flaws in my logic in the comments of the video. I only want to release content that lives up to the standards I’ve set for myself, and that Is worthy of your time as a viewer— so I count on all of you to hold me to that! Honest feedback will always be taken to heart.
