I started this channel back in 2013 as a kid, I was pretty stupid, immature and wanted to make god awful comedy videos in the hopes of making people laugh, as time passed I found myself yearning to make video game content, I don't have much tools at my disposal as of right now but give it time and I might flourish.

Next update on Redux progress, Akiyama gets his own unique movesets for tonfa's and spears, where in the original game he just shares the same moves as Kiryu, specifically went with Majima's tonfa to support Akiyama's acrobatics and the Ishin / Majima spear moveset.

Redux Modding Update:
After figuring out how to tweak random street fights, I have the pleasure of showing off Saejima getting assaulted by a whole army of thugs, which if you ask me, is a very realistic response to trying to take down this behemoth.
Saejima's fights now will really bring out the inner beast that everyone seems to love, swing around fire poles, electric boxes and motorbikes to your hearts content while mowing down upwards of 20 thugs in a fight.

In Redux, old moves unused in Yakuza 5 will be returning as fully functioning moves to add to the repertoire of Kiryu, to further restore him to the skillset he had by Yakuza 4

Long time no update, I've been hard at work adding functionality to Redux and a lot of quality of life improvements to the combat and skills per character.
My most recent focus has been Shinada, in which I'm giving him so much more tools to deal with situations as in the base game he's a rather limited fighter with very few combat options.
One such new addition I'm adding is his ability to transition into wrestling holds while grappling or when his guard is broken, allowing you to actually defend yourself against a relentless assault.
At the same time I've decreased his health pool a sizeable amount to reflect that he's not a fighter like the rest of the cast, whereas his strength isn't in question, his natural fighting ability is, and so I've chose to expand his options while decreasing his health.

Next update on Yakuza 5 Redux progress:
I've been adding completely new movesets with fightercommander to each character for individual weapon movesets, in an attempt to de-universalise the combat, and instead personalise it to each character, as best I can.
I've removed Shinada's ability to perform the refined sword heat action as it doesn't fit his style, instead replacing it with a fully working standing version of the equipping heat action, with a matching start up animation to boot.
As you can also see I've given Saejima a much slower and heavier Kali stick moveset as he shouldn't have the prowess of Kiryu. I'll probably be making more changes as I see fit to individualise each character to the best of my ability.

Just a little update, since I've been radio silent for a while, I've been back working on Yakuza 5 Redux, making alterations to the Ultimate Battles (with some fun little twists to what you are used to). I've been attempting to tidy up the overall aesthetic of the mod and recently moved on to adding in new heat actions to the files, now I've managed to make it so Akiyama will perform his own heat action at walls, instead of sharing Kiryu's heat action like he normally does.

Now featuring style switching, in Yakuza 6!
- Returning classic moves, such as his triple kick combo from Yakuza 0.
- Removing stat caps for main skills.
- Better base starting stats, much longer sprinting and jogging stamina, 6 heat orbs, which now can upgrade to a max of 9.

This mod was originally a port made by someone who wanted to see Dragon Reborn 1988 in Yakuza 6, if not for their work, I wouldn't have finished this port myself, though since they put in the hard work, I decided to reward that with hard work of my own in the form of this new update.

Might release an experimental build of Redux that used Landlord to add new effects and moves into the game, not limited to just new effects but also might add in DE Dragon style sway attacks to DoD, that don't replace the Komaki Sways

My first time doing a community post, let alone a poll, but I decided might as well.
After the release of Yakuza Kiwami Redux, I suppose I'd want to ask if there'd be an interest in me completing Yakuza 5 Redux.
Which is a different rework of Yakuza 5, less focused on upgrade tweaks (which so far I couldn't get to work anyway) but more focused on technical combat tweaks, in essence opening up a lot more options for you as a player to choose what attacks you can perform. Mainly removing auto attacks, such as Akiyama's heat mode attack replacements and making them new button inputs so that they aren't replacements but instead options.
