Apologies for the abrupt ending to the Ultraseven X Review. I'm actually shaking with anger as I write this. I'm guessing I was just randomly targeted by an online hate group. I couldn't figure out how to turn the chat off and I kept getting distracted from my topic so I just decided to cut my losses. I've said before I really hate when video plans get ruined and this hasn't pissed me off so badly since me and Seanie Boys first attempt to rank the Halloween movies.
I'll be back next week with something else but I don't know if I'll continue Super Ultra Binge. At least not for a little while. I can feel the urge slipping away.

As promised I'll keep you guys updated on certain things in my life. Thankfully things are looking up a bit for me and my family. Xmas was decent, though I didn't come down with a cold at the very end of Xmas. Thankfully I'm getting over the majority of it.
My living situation is going in the direction I was mostly hoping for, as thankfully we will be relocated to across the street from where I live now, so my life will not be disrupted hardly at all.
I have been considering doing more videos up until and after I move, seeing as how I don't need to do much packing since a moving service is arriving the day before, and when I get settled into my new place I'm also thinking I'll do vids there too, even though we won't be staying there long I don't wanna fully wait until July to do content.
So keep your eyes out.

So after much consideration and much debate, I've decided I'm actually gonna take an extended break from doing videos. I don't know if anybody has noticed, aside from the numerous extended waiting times between videos for the last few months, including one entire month where I did absolutely nothing. So as stated, after thinking about it for a good week or 2, I've decided I'm gonna step away from content for an unknown amount of time.
It could be only a few weeks, but the absolute soonest time I see myself coming back is around early January. That might sound drastic, especially since the spooky season is right around the corner, as well as the 70th anniversary of Godzilla in just a couple months, but I'm just kinda not feeling the vids anymore. Not to say I don't want to do them anymore, but my motivation is severely depleted, and my attention for other things is being diverted in other areas.
There are a fair few factors as to why I'm taking a step back. For one thing, I've been learning how to drive. I'm 27 years old, and I don't own a car, nor even have a license. And YouTube is kinda interfering with that.
I also might be moving house, and obviously I need to pour all my attention and energy into taking care of that, but I will let you all know if slash when that happens so put a pin in that.
I also admittedly have kinda lost some confidence in myself, not really feeling comfortable with just me talking about a film, and not really having much desire to tackle a film or show with just myself.
Not to say I'm completely dependent on Jackie Boy or Seanie Boy for content, but I have been really enjoying bouncing off those 2 for my vids. And both Sean and Jack are going through changes of their own so I just feel like it's best to leave them be and let them settle down.
The biggest reason I'm stepping away, is because honestly, 2024 has been an extremely challenging year for me personally. I'm not gonna go into too much detail here, might save that for my return video but I'll just say that one massive thing that's affected me is the loss of some friends and some difficulties between me and Meadow. I'll explain more at a later date.
I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, as I promised that I would try to keep the same energy from 2023 throughout this year, which I think I have partially succeeded in, but I just feel like I need an extended break to recharge my creative batteries and get some affairs in order.
So I'll see you all in the next video, be safe strong and watch movies.

So I have just learned that the Oscars graciously awarded Godzilla Minus One the award for Best Visual Effects. I am actually very pleased with this accomplishment and am very proud and happy for Takashi Yamazaki and the whole crew involved. I know in my review I did kinda tear the film apart, and while I still firmly stand on it not being my cup of Kaiju, I am very glad the Kaiju genre has finally won a massive victory, especially in the States, seeing as how the Kaiju genre has always had all the odds stacked against it here in the US. So even though I didn't love the movie, I am very happy that Godzilla now finally has won some kind of Academy Award, and especially in the realm of special effects, in an age where we have films like The Marvels and The Flash, with tons of movies with multi million dollar budgets and look unfinished amd rushed, a movie like Godzilla Minus One comes around and shows Hollywood truly how it's done. It goes to show that Godzilla is the one true King.

Recently a brand new video series idea has crossed my mind that sounds like something I would really enjoy doing, but I wanna run the idea past all you viewers. I'm a big fan of audiobooks, and I'd like to try out possibly reading aloud on camera for an hour or so at a time. My favorites are zombie novels and Star Wars novels. But I could branch out into other books too, namely horror and sci Fi is what id like to stick with. If I start doing this, I already have my first novel in mind, but if this idea sounds cool, feel free to post suggestions in the comments below.
Disclaimer too, comics and graphic novels I would not do, as those are more visual than regular novels.
