Aye, when someone has the information you need and tells you about it, but you disregard it simply because of who they are—ego, pride, bitterness, whatever the reason—you deserve to be dizzy with confusion.
You don't have to like someone to recognize the truth in what they're telling you.
You don't have to trust their intentions to verify the information.
Sometimes wisdom is being able to separate the message from the messenger.
Because when you reject valuable information just because you don't like the person delivering it, don't be surprised when you end up confused about something that could've been clear all along.
