There has been a family of feral cats living in the woods near my house. It was May of 2016 when one of the cats came into my yard and meowed at me looking for food. I gave her some food and she gobbled it up. It happened a few more times and I couldn't believe how much this cat was eating. I thought she had worms. Then one day, she was more comfortable with me, and was laying on my patio and I could see that she was either pregnant or nursing and that's why she was eating so much. A week or so later, I saw the kittens under the fence. These videos have been documenting the lives and interactions of these feral cats.

It has been brought to my attention that quite a few people have not seen this video. This was filmed several months ago when Simba went to the animal hospital for vomiting. It explains why the cats have been getting fed multiple smaller meals a day versus only two meals. I highly suggest you watch it if you haven't seen it and if you think you know more about what's best for my cats than I do.

CHANNEL UPDATE! Season 9 of the Lucky Ferals Cat Family Vlog should be starting in the middle of September. However, as you know, because of everything that has happened this year with Stella's passing, and Boo's passing, and Sammy going missing, and Simba limping, etc. all of the vlogs have been behind by several months. I am trying to get the rest of Season 8 posted as quickly as possible so that Season 9 can start. There is not much difference between the video seasons. Sometimes small changes are made. It has always just helped to keep track of the timeline since the original Boo Day series. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Thank you for watching the videos. If you see videos being posted more often, and/or daily, it's because I'm trying to get this Season caught up.

I've been testing out YouTube's automatic ad placement feature on the last few videos. My concern with it is that it might be placing too many ads in the videos. I usually keep the ads to one every 8 - 12 minutes which I think is reasonable, but with their automatic feature, I don't have any control over their placement. Have you noticed any difference? Are they placing an annoying amount of ads? Or does everything appear to be the same? Thanks for the info.

Attention Animal Hospitals: When a cat has visiting hours, please don't put them in a exam room for birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, etc. They will spend the entire time hunting for the prey that they smell.
