Core training gets marketed like it’s only about aesthetics, but your core is also the center that helps you move with more steadiness and control in everyday life. Core exercises train the muscles of your trunk to work together, which supports balance and stability.

And in real life, that can matter for everything from carrying groceries to protecting your spine when you lift and move.
