Wired for Crappie
Some ask, “Matt, why do you always mention creek channels.” Well I can’t explain it any better than this. Our lakes in East Tennessee we’re impounded years ago. Typically when land is cleared the machine cutting trees will not go into a creek to get trees. They are cut off flush with the grade above leaving beautiful stump fields for crappie just like the photo below. This is the case with our creeks that we’re logged and then flooded years ago. Really cool to see this above the waterline.
