NLSS Highlights

Hey everybody! I still don't plan on ever returning to editing Northernlion content, but if anyone's wondering where I've been, I'm still doing a lot of content with my good friend ‪@nudgeandprod‬! Specifically, I've been joining a lot of his streams as a cohost, and I've been editing a majority of his highlight videos! In fact, he recently beat every single mainline Sonic game for the first time, so I edited a giant compilation of highlights that spans the entire series. It's over 3 and a half hours long and I'm really proud of how it turned out, so feel free to check it out if you're curious!

Also, I already said this in my previous community post, but thank you so much for supporting this channel across the years! I've moved on from making NLSS-related content, but it's still nice to go back every now and then and see that so many people enjoyed what I created. <3

NLSS Highlights

Hey y'all, so as you can probably tell, the channel is legit dead as hell lmao.
This is a pretty unfortunate update and I said this one time on Reddit already, but yeahh I believe the channel's officially done for now. I did all that I really wanted to do, and the NLSS is practically over anyway. In the future, I may join the rare collabs that other NLSS editors do (since I still fucking love NL), but for now I'm just living my life and doing my own thing.

Speaking of doing my own thing, I have been a frequent guest/editor in my good friend Nudge's streams! My personal online username is Pye now, and I've been joining Nudge as he plays through all the Sonic games for the first time. So if y'all wanna see where I go in the future, that's where you'll find me a lot of the time. The most recent video I edited is linked here. NLSS Highlights

Hey bois, I'm here with some good and/or bad news depending on how you view it.

I'll just be blunt: I'm probably cancelling highlights on Codenames and Duck Game. Either that or they're just going on an indefinite hiatus. While those highlights are fun for me to make, it just seems like not many people are really interested in them.

But here's the silver lining. This also means that I'll be making more broad and unique videos instead of focusing almost entirely on two series. So there are going to be a lot more one-offs, more meme origins, and maybe even more Hitman Roulette if I feel up to it.

That's about all I wanted to say. Sorry if this comes as a disappointment to those of you that watched those two series, but I hope you all can look forward to the stuff I make next <3

NLSS Highlights

Next video will be Codenames, and it’s gonna be an extra long one since the Codenames segment for that NLSS was about two hours.

After that, the plan is to do highlights on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics stream(s). Could be a one-off or multiple depending on how the first episode goes.

Edit: I tried uploading overnight but my computer went to sleep partway through. Bruh bruh bruh

Both of the old Mr. Greenman parts are now unlisted, and the new video that combines both parts is currently uploading. If you’ve already seen my old Mr. Greenman vids, feel free to not even watch the new version since it barely includes anything actually “new”. It just has a new thumbnail and removes a couple of my old edits since they were too random and weird for what the actual video is going for. I really just did this so that my Meme Origins playlist makes sense lmao. Anyway, thank you all for the support! I’ll be sure to make an actually new video whenever I get the time and motivation :) ty ty ty

NLSS Highlights

Heyo, prepare for every old thumbnail to be changed to the new style that I've been using in the Codenames and Duck Game vids. I'm not returning with a new video yet, but I really wanted to spend some free time fixing the old thumbnails because some are straight up bad.
Also, I don't know how I feel about the Mr. Greenman vids being two parts instead of just one bigger video. Every other Meme Origins video is only one part dedicated to each meme, so I don't see a point in having Mr. Greenman split in two. So here's a question: Would you be okay with a Mr. Greenman reupload as an all-in-one episode? I personally want to reupload it, but it's up to you guys. Ty ty ty

NLSS Highlights

Spent the last hour or so experimenting with different thumbnail styles, and I finally found something that I really like. I've updated both Codenames thumbnails accordingly. All of my future videos will have this style as well since my previous style looked like garbage.

In addition, after I release another video or two, I am likely going to make a Patreon as a few people have messaged me and asked if they could give their support this way. I didn't feel right doing it before now since my upload consistency was awful, but I'm really going to work hard on this channel for the indefinite future.

NLSS Highlights

New video on Flashing Lights will come out as soon as I get around to finishing it. I know SirToastyToes already did his own highlights of it, but we both agreed that I should finish my own version as well since I was partway through editing it anyway.
