I thought it’d be nice to share some concept sketches and storyboard I had for the Spells Unspoken characters! I like sketching out my designs on paper first because it feels more intuitive and helps make character shapes! In a way, it also helps me control how much detail I put into the characters designs, because if I can draw them by pen and paper, it’ll be easier to draw digitally for me. The storyboard had some sections cut and dialogues changed because we only had 2-3 weeks to actually animate everything. 😔
