Care Navigated is a channel for caregivers facing serious illness and hard medical decisions.
My name is Judy Ehi. I am a caregiver educator and a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared, Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. I help caregivers understand what’s happening, organize medical choices, and find words for difficult conversations.
I am also a caregiver. After my mother had a stroke and later started dialysis, I saw how overwhelming these decisions can be.
Care Navigated exists to help caregivers feel relieved, clearer, less guilty, and less alone. This channel provides education and decision clarity, not medical advice.

💛Care Navigated Reflection
One of the biggest misconceptions about hospice is that learning about it means you’ve given up.
One thing I hope caregivers remember from this week’s conversation is this:
Learning about hospice is not the same as choosing hospice.
Sometimes understanding your options is the first step toward making thoughtful decisions rooted in love, values, and goals.

💛 Care Navigated Reflection
One of the biggest fears many new caregivers have is,
“What if I’m not ready?”
One thing I hope caregivers remember from this week’s conversation is this:
You don’t have to have all the answers before becoming a caregiver.
The willingness to learn, ask questions, and walk alongside someone you love is where every caregiving journey begins.
