Happy People! Sarah shared on IG and FB that Rob is improving by leaps and bounds, but he's still unable to say the girls names and it's so incredibly difficult and frustrating for him. We hold a strong faith and know with time, Robert will make a complete recovery with his family right by his side helping every step of the way!

Every single one of you are each a huge part of this mission and we ask you to pray with us: Lord, thank you for being our rock in time of despair. Please continue to lay your hands on Robert and help heal his brain. Help him to overcome his struggles and encourage him to keep pushing through the frustrations he’s facing. Thank you for your blessings and for guiding Sarah to make the best possible decisions on Robert’s behalf. Continue to be with us each step of the way. In Jesus name, Amen. 🙏🏻

Hello everyone! Please see the following update on Rob's condition from ‪@DeerMom‬

When we arrived at the hospital in Daytona on Sunday, a CT scan revealed a small hemorrhagic stroke in the front of Rob’s brain and signs of his old ischemic stroke from two years ago. An MRI was ordered but delayed until the next morning. Rob was experiencing severe aphasia—he struggled to speak or understand instructions—and we had no communication with a neurologist.

By 5:30 a.m., I was very concerned about his care and lack of progress, but waited several more hours before choosing to transfer him myself to Cleveland Clinic, despite medical advice to wait. His mom Betty was with me and we monitored him closely during the drive.

Once at Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Babi and his team acted quickly. An MRI confirmed a significant ischemic stroke in the back of his brain (see the photo) — missed at the previous hospital due to not getting an MRI there. Thankfully, he has no mobility issues or facial droop. While speech therapy will be necessary and very important, we're choosing to be optimistic and focused on small steps forward just like you all know Rob absolutely wants us to be!

Hey everyone - this is a post by the DMFD Team with information shared from Sarah.

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, Rob had another stroke. Sarah was thankfully with him and got him rushed him to a trauma hospital who confirmed it was a hemorrhagic stroke. This time, his motor skill impairment is minimal but he's struggling with his speech and communicating.

Please pray the doctors figure out why this happened and for Gods healing hand on Robert for complete recovery.

We will update as often as we can across all of Rob and Sarah's social media accounts.
