Not all VA niches are created equal.

And in 2026, the market is making that very clear. If you have been wondering where the real opportunities are, here are 3 niches that are paying VAs well right now:

1️⃣Executive Support / C-Suite EA
Founders and executives are busier than ever and they need support that thinks, not just executes. EVAs who can manage high-level operations, communications, and strategy are commanding premium rates. This is not entry-level VA work and the pay reflects that.

2️⃣Launch Support VA
Course creators, coaches, and online business owners launch constantly and launches are chaotic without the right support. A VA who understands launch sequences, tech setup, affiliate management, and post-launch wrap-up is invaluable. And she gets hired again. And again.

3️⃣Systems & Automation VA
Businesses are drowning in repetitive tasks they don’t know how to automate. A VA who can build workflows in tools like Zapier, Make, or Notion, and document everything cleanly is solving a painful, expensive problem. That kind of skill commands serious rates.

The common thread? Specialisation. Results. Strategy.

These aren’t task-doers. They are problem-solvers. And the market pays accordingly.

If you are still offering everything to everyone, this is your nudge to pick a lane.

Which of these niches speaks to your strengths?

I could have kept winging it. Instead I’m doing this.

I’m starting my AI Automation course with Koka Academy Ltd And I’m documenting every step of it right here.

Monday was onboarding.

Today the real work begins. I’ll be honest, I signed up with a mix of excitement and a little bit of “okay Adebola, you are really doing this.”

But that feeling? I have learned to trust it.

✅It’s the same feeling I had when I left banking to become a VA.

✅The same feeling I had when I started coaching other VAs.

✅The same feeling when I launched my YouTube channel and it got monetized with 5months.

✅The same feeling I had when I learned AI video creation from scratch.

And every single time, on the other side of that feeling was growth.

So here I am again. Student mode. Fully in and staying locked in🔐.

➡️Why AI Automation?

Because the executives and founders I support are running complex, fast-moving businesses and the future of high-level executive support isn’t just organisation and communication.

It’s building systems that think, move, and operate without constant human input.

An EVA who understands automation doesn’t just save her client time. She builds infrastructure that scales with them.

Now here’s the thing, I’m not coming into this completely cold. I have already been working with some of the tools we’ll be covering. But knowing a tool and being taught by someone who has mastered it are two very different things.

I want the depth. The hands-on experience.
The real-world context that only comes from people who have been in the trenches with these tools and built with them at a high level.

That’s what Koka Academy Ltd brings. And that’s exactly what I came for.

For the VAs reading this, this is your reminder that the best investment you will ever make is in yourself.

Not when you feel ready.
Not when you have more money.
Not when things slow down.

Now.

The industry is moving fast. The VAs who keep learning are the ones who will keep winning.

I’ll be sharing updates as I go. The wins. The confusing bits. The lightbulb moments.
Follow along, this is going to be a good one. I need all the encouragement from you too.

I’m Adebola, an Executive VA and VA Coach with 4 years of experience. I help executives reclaim their time and I help VAs build careers worth being proud of. And I never stop evolving!

Are you currently investing in a new skill? What are you learning? I look forward to reading from you.

Last month, I decided to learn something completely outside my comfort zone.

AI video creation.

Not because someone told me to.

Because I saw where things were going and I wanted to be ahead of it, not catching up to it.

So I enrolled for a course & started learning. Experimenting. Making mistakes. Trying again. Tools like Veo 3, HeyGen, Synthesia, Openart, Kling, and Higgsfield became part of my world.

And what started as curiosity quickly became a skill I could offer, monetise, and build on.

Here’s what I learned along the way:

➡️AI video creation is not just for content creators.

➡️It is for every VA who wants to future-proof her services.

➡️It is for every executive who wants to scale their message without being on camera every day.

Think about what’s possible:

✅A founder records herself once and that footage becomes 10 personalised video messages to different clients.

✅A coach creates an onboarding video in minutes without a studio or a camera crew

✅A VA adds AI video production to her offer stack and doubles her rates overnight

✅A brand creates spokesperson videos in multiple languages without hiring multiple people

This is not the future. This is now.
And the VAs who are learning these tools today are the ones who will be impossible to ignore tomorrow.

I started with zero experience in video.
No design background. No production knowledge. Nothing! Just curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to figure it out.

If I could learn it, so can you!

And if you are an executive or founder reading this, the question isn’t whether AI video is relevant to your business. It’s whether the person supporting you knows how to use it.

Send a DM whether you are an executive looking for forward-thinking support, or a VA ready to add a high-income skill to your toolkit.

Have you explored any AI video tools yet? Do you have plans to learn now or in the future?

PS: One of the videos I created for a client below.

Here is it

Nobody talks about what a great Executive Virtual Assistant actually protects you from.

Everyone talks about what she does.

The calendar. The inbox. The travel. The follow-ups.

But the real value? It’s in what never reaches you.

Here’s what a strategic EVA is quietly protecting you from every single day:

1️⃣Decision fatigue
Every small decision you make drains the same mental energy you need for the big ones. Your EVA absorbs the small ones so you show up to the important decisions sharp, not depleted.

2️⃣Reactive days
Without support, your day is built by whoever emails you first. A great EVA builds your day around your priorities not other people’s urgencies.

3️⃣Dropped relationships
The follow-up that never happened. The birthday that passed. The partner you meant to check in with. She remembers what you can’t afford to forget.

4️⃣Bottlenecks disguised as busyness
Sometimes the reason your business isn’t moving isn’t strategy, it’s that you’re too buried in operations to lead. She clears the path.

5️⃣The Sunday dread
That feeling of carrying everything into the weekend. The mental list that never switches off. A great EVA means Monday has a plan and Friday has a close.

You don’t just hire an EVA to get things done.

You hire her so the right things get done and everything else gets handled.

I’m Adebola, an Executive VA helping founders and executives operate at their highest level.

If you’re ready for that kind of support, send me a DM.

What’s the one thing you wish someone would just handle for you? Drop it below 👇🏽

It’s Friday ppl and your tool of the week is Calendly.

Whether you are a VA managing a client’s schedule or an executive tired of the back-and-forth, this one will change how you think about time.

Calendly is a free scheduling tool that eliminates the endless “does Tuesday at 2pm work for you?” email chains.

You set your availability once. You share a link. People book themselves in.

That’s it.

Here’s how VAs use it:
✅Client discovery calls — Instead of going back and forth with potential clients, send your Calendly link. Instant professionalism, zero friction.
✅Managing your client’s calendar — Set up Calendly on behalf of your executive and filter who gets access to what. Board members get one link. General enquiries get another.
✅Onboarding new clients — Include your Calendly link in your welcome email so kickoff calls get booked immediately. No chasing.

Here’s how executives use it:
✅Protecting deep work time — Block your mornings for focused work and only open afternoons for calls. Calendly enforces it automatically.
✅Investor and partnership meetings — Share a dedicated link that reflects your availability without revealing your full schedule.
✅Team check-ins — Set up recurring availability so your team can book without interrupting you.

Calendly has a free plan that covers everything you need to get started. Stop trading emails to book meetings.

Your time is worth more than that.

Are you using Calendly already? How has it changed your workflow? Drop it below, If not then set it up this weekend. You’ll thank yourself Monday.

Your LinkedIn profile is losing you clients.

And you don’t even know it.

I see it constantly talented VAs with real skills, hiding behind profiles that say almost nothing about what they actually do or who they do it for.

Here’s what a losing VA profile looks like:
❌ Headline: “Virtual Assistant | Admin Support | Social Media”
❌ About section: Three lines or completely empty
❌ Experience: A list of tasks with no results attached
❌ No featured section. No recommendations. No content.

And here’s what a winning one looks like:
✅ Headline that speaks to your client’s outcome
Not “Virtual Assistant” but “Helping founders reclaim 10+ hours a week through strategic executive support.”
✅ An About section that tells your story AND your offer
Who you help. What problem you solve. What they should do next.
✅ Experience written in results, not responsibilities
Not “managed inbox” but “reduced client email response time from 3 days to 4 hours through inbox management system.”
✅ A Featured section with proof
A testimonial. A resource you created. A post that did well. Something that shows you know your stuff.
✅ Content that builds trust before they DM you

Every post you publish is a job application. Treat it that way.

LinkedIn is not just a directory.

It is your most powerful marketing tool as a VA and it costs you nothing to use it well.

Start there.

What’s the one part of your LinkedIn profile you’ve been avoiding fixing? Drop it below

You hired an EVA. Great decision.

But are you actually using her well?

Because there’s a version of executive support that changes everything and a version that barely scratches the surface.

Here are 5 things your EVA should be doing that she probably isn’t:

1️⃣Managing your inbox proactively not reactively
She shouldn’t be waiting for you to forward emails. She should have access, a system, and the judgment to handle what doesn’t need you and flag what does.
2️⃣Preparing you for every meeting
A pre-brief before every significant call. Who’s attending, what they want, what you need to walk away with. You should never walk into a room cold.
3️⃣Building and maintaining your SOPs
Every recurring task in your business should have a documented process. Your EVA should own this so nothing lives only in your head.
4️⃣Managing your energy, not just your calendar. A strategic EVA doesn’t just fill your schedule. She protects your deep work time, builds in buffers, and makes sure you’re not running on empty by Thursday.
5️⃣Anticipating not just responding. The best EVAs don’t wait to be asked. They see what’s coming, prepare for it, and handle it before it becomes your problem.

If your EVA isn’t doing these things it’s either a training conversation or a fit conversation.

Either way, it’s worth having.

Which of these would make the biggest difference in your business right now?

There was a time I almost talked myself out of this entire career.

I had done the training.
I had the skills.
I knew what I was supposed to do.
But every time I was about to put myself out there, a voice showed up.

“Who are you to charge that?”
“There are more experienced VAs out there.”
“What if they ask you something you don’t know?”

So I stayed quiet. Polished my skills a little more. Took one more course. Waited until I felt ready.
But ready never came.
And then something shifted.

I realized the VAs who were landing clients weren’t necessarily more skilled than me.
They were just more visible than me.
They weren’t waiting to feel like experts.
They were showing up and becoming experts in the process.

So I made a decision.
I stopped waiting for confidence to arrive and started acting like it was already there.
I posted. I pitched. I showed up, even when my hands were shaking a little.

And the more I showed up, the more the imposter voice quieted down.

Here’s what I know now that I wish I’d known then:

✅You are not an imposter. You are someone at the beginning of mastery. There’s a difference.

✅An imposter is pretending to know something they don’t. You? You have real skills, real training, and real capacity to deliver. You just haven’t given yourself permission to own it yet.

So this is me, giving you that permission today.

✅Stop waiting.
✅Start showing up.
✅The expert you are waiting to become is built in the doing.

When did you first start feeling like you belonged in this industry? I will be in the comments

You don’t have a time problem.

You have a delegation problem.

I know that’s not what you want to hear. But stay with me.

Because most executives I speak to are not short on hours. They are short on boundaries around how those hours get used.

❌You are answering emails that should have a filter.
❌Attending meetings that should have been a voice note.
❌Making decisions that should have a system.
❌Doing tasks that should have a name attached to them and that name shouldn’t be yours.

Time management is a myth when your plate is full of other people’s work.

The real question isn’t “how do I manage my time better?”

It’s “what am I still holding onto that I should have handed off 6 months ago?”

The executives who scale fastest are not the ones who work the hardest.

✅They are the ones who have mastered the art of letting go strategically.
✅They know their zone of genius. They protect it fiercely.
✅And they build a support system that handles everything outside of it.

That’s not laziness. That’s leadership.

If delegation feels impossible right now that’s exactly why we need to talk.

I’m Adebola, Executive VA with 4 years of experience helping founders lead at their highest level. DM me.

Volunteering is not a favour you do for someone.

It is an investment you make in yourself.

I learned this firsthand when I called for volunteers for The Growth Summit.

Some volunteers showed up with everything — prepared, proactive, aligned with the vision. They treated the opportunity like a paid contract. And it showed.

Others treated it like a casual commitment.

Something to show up to halfway.

Something that didn’t really count because there was no invoice attached.

Here’s what I want every VA especially those just starting out to understand:

✅The way you volunteer is the way you work. And people are watching.

✅When you volunteer for an event, a brand, or a leader in your space, you are not doing them a favour. You are:

1️⃣Building a reputation before you have a client list
2️⃣Learning how high-level operations actually run
3️⃣Creating proof of your capabilities in real time
4️⃣Earning referrals, testimonials, and opportunities money can’t buy yet
5️⃣The organisers you volunteer for talk to other organisers.
6️⃣The leaders you support know other leaders.
7️⃣Your work or your absence of it — travels further than you think.

Volunteering done with excellence is one of the fastest, most underrated ways to break into this industry and move up within it.

Don’t show up halfway. Don’t treat unpaid as unimportant.

Show up like it’s the opportunity that changes everything.

Because sometimes — it is.

Have you ever volunteered for an event or brand in this industry? What did you gain from it?
