Christianity is obsessed with belief. Heathenry is not. And Christianity is not alone in this. Many religions hinge on belief, creed, doctrine, internal assent as the measure of faith.
Heathenry belongs to a different family of traditions.
Christians are taught that belief is everything. Believe correctly and you are saved. Believe incorrectly and you are lost. Everything hinges on internal agreement.
That is not how Heathenry works. Heathenry is not built on belief. It is built on relationship.
A relationship is proven through action, not internal assent. You do not maintain kinship by believing in your family. You maintain it by showing up, honoring obligations, and keeping reciprocity alive.
The Gods are no different. Heathen Gods are not sustained by belief. They are engaged through offering, honor, memory and right action. Ancestors are not believed in. They are remembered.
The land is not believed in. It is lived upon, tended and respected. When Christians and others from belief‑centric religions demand proof that our gods are real, they are asking for belief‑language. They assume belief is the entry fee for legitimacy.
It is not.
A Heathen does not need to prove belief to justify practice. Relationship stands on its own. If the exchange holds, the relationship holds.
You can believe in a god and never act. You can act in right relationship without ever articulating belief. Heathenry values the second.
When Christians argue belief, they are speaking their native tongue. When Heathens refuse that framework, the argument stalls. Not because we are wrong but because we are not playing the same game.
A solid response is simple: “I am not required to believe the way you do. My path is based on relationship and practice, not internal assent.”
That is not avoidance. That is definition.

I could go through the list of things that are being said and done to create reactions in people so that they can be seen and heard, so that those watching will know exactly where each individual is in their journey. And I can tell you that there are people here, souls who volunteered to knowingly walk into this chaos to help bring people out of it, and each of us has a part in that. We each agreed to what we are seeing and hearing, and how we react or respond to it is the ultimate test of where you go next.
Some of us have the memories of volunteering (yes, I do, and might be rethinking ever volunteering on a mission like this again (sarcasm and literal). Because I have worked with the "invisible" for such a long time, and we have such a great connection, we go back and forth with my sarcasm, and I'm as salty with my guides as I can be with people. The point is, here, we are currently collapsing duality and the ILLusions... But people are fighting their own healing, because of a need to right, among other things.
There is more healing to be done, and each person chooses when and how much. And we keep incarnating until you get it. Those of us who volunteered to be here, are working tirelessly to help you see what those in POWER do not want you to see or hear.
Start looking at the person you are angry with as though that person is you, and it might help you realize that at some time or another we have all acted in manners that are unbecoming, which is why we need healing to begin with. You know that whole you reap what you sow thing, and karma. We came here to learn, to experience, to choose, to grow, and we did that under a veil of amnesia so it would be fun to create our own realities...
We have since fallen so low, that some don't even view their fellow citizens as worthy of life at all. There are a lot of people in physical pain, emotional pain, and spiritual pain right now. Unresolved emotional pain leads to physical ailments, up to and including death.
As you are seeing images, and narratives that are being put in front of your face over and over and over again, take a minute and think about why you feel what you feel inside about that particular thing you are seeing. Step back from it, ask yourself why? What has happened to you in your life that made you react this way? Not a judgment of any one side of the narrative, but why the reaction... That will give you insight into what you need to heal.
Healing is an individual journey, and each of us has triggers that are causing us to to react or respond. Examine everything, your beliefs, your thoughts, your words, and what are you gaining from any of those? Do you feel happy? Do you feel proud of your reaction? Do you feel like you are being heard? Do you feel like you are accomplishing something by the reaction to it?
These are questions if we ask ourselves the why's, we can see what we need to see within ourselves.
Right now, I can't say Happy Awakening because of the sheer amount of pain everyone is in. But I can say, Breathe, take a breathe, take a walk, put your feet on the earth, listen to her song, allow that song to flow through you. Hear her cry and know that she is rising, and will are going to rise with her... Before you react, no matter the situation, ask yourself if that's really the way you want to be seen and heard, if that answer is yes, then go for it because only you can decide if the any reaction is correct for you....
