I created this spoem ( spell poem) Cord Cutting Spell Say this when you're ready to let go with love and strength. What you release makes room for your return. **********
By flame and breath, by thread and knife, I call my energy back to life.
This cord that binds, I now release, I am empowered, I call my peace.
No bond shall hold what's meant to go, No shadowed cord shall steal my growth
What we shared now disintegrates No longer bound, my energy elevates
No pull remains, no tie, no chain, No lingering echo of old pain.
integrity and honesty u have not learned Your worn out welcome is now earned
No more illusion, I now disclose All of your fakeness is now exposed
No tie remains, no bind, no claim No lies, no drama no more echoed pain.
With sacred will and sovereign might, I sever this cord, I stand and fight
I reclaim my strength, my heart now whole, I cut all ties and cleanse my soul.
I am now free of your bind That Intertwines your life with mine
With love I release what is tied to me My power returns and welcomes healthy boundaries
Christians argue belief. Heathens live relationships.
Christianity is obsessed with belief. Heathenry is not. And Christianity is not alone in this. Many religions hinge on belief, creed, doctrine, internal assent as the measure of faith.
Heathenry belongs to a different family of traditions.
Christians are taught that belief is everything. Believe correctly and you are saved. Believe incorrectly and you are lost. Everything hinges on internal agreement.
That is not how Heathenry works. Heathenry is not built on belief. It is built on relationship.
A relationship is proven through action, not internal assent. You do not maintain kinship by believing in your family. You maintain it by showing up, honoring obligations, and keeping reciprocity alive.
The Gods are no different. Heathen Gods are not sustained by belief. They are engaged through offering, honor, memory and right action. Ancestors are not believed in. They are remembered.
The land is not believed in. It is lived upon, tended and respected. When Christians and others from belief‑centric religions demand proof that our gods are real, they are asking for belief‑language. They assume belief is the entry fee for legitimacy.
It is not.
A Heathen does not need to prove belief to justify practice. Relationship stands on its own. If the exchange holds, the relationship holds.
You can believe in a god and never act. You can act in right relationship without ever articulating belief. Heathenry values the second.
When Christians argue belief, they are speaking their native tongue. When Heathens refuse that framework, the argument stalls. Not because we are wrong but because we are not playing the same game.
A solid response is simple: “I am not required to believe the way you do. My path is based on relationship and practice, not internal assent.”
That is not avoidance. That is definition.
Heathenry is not something you agree with. It is something you do.
The 2025 Harvest Moon will be on Monday, October 6, 2025, reaching peak illumination at 11:47 p.m. EDT. This supermoon will rise around the same time for a few nights in a row, from October 5–7, providing extended evening light. To find the exact rise time for your specific location, use a local time and date website like Time and Date. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Why this Harvest Moon is late: [1, 4, 6]
• The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumn equinox. • In 2025, October's full moon falls closer to the fall equinox than September's full moon, making it the Harvest Moon.
What to look for:
• Rises at nearly the same time: Unlike other full moons, the Harvest Moon rises around sunset for several consecutive nights, providing steady, bright light for evening activities. [2, 4, 7] • Supermoon: This full moon is also a supermoon because it is near perigee, appearing slightly bigger and brighter than average. [1, 4] • Appearance: The moon will appear bright and golden, low on the horizon. [8]
Hekate's hounds are not just symbolic animals; they have a specific and active role that reflects her domain as a Goddess of the crossroads, witchcraft, and the underworld. They are a core part of her iconography and function as her companions, messengers, and guardians.
Hekate is the Goddess of the triodos, or three-way crossroads, which were considered sacred and liminal spaces where the mortal world intersected with the spiritual realm. Her hounds are her primary guardians here. They patrol the crossroads at night, protecting her and ensuring that those who approach with ill intent or impure motives cannot pass. This is why their howling was often heard as an omen or a warning.
Messengers of the Goddess: When her hounds were heard howling at night, especially near crossroads or burial grounds, it was believed to be a sign that Hekate herself was nearby. They were her heralds, announcing her presence as she moved through the world. The sound of their baying was a sign of her power and could inspire both fear and reverence.
As a chthonic Goddess (a deity of the underworld), Hekate has a deep connection to spirits and the dead. Her hounds are her constant companions on her journeys through the underworld and on earth at night. They are said to be dogs of the underworld, with some sources claiming they were the souls of the damned or were created from the flesh of sacrificed dogs. Their association with graveyards and spirits reinforces their role as beings of the liminal space between life and death.
The hounds themselves are often described as otherworldly. They are not simply dogs but are frequently depicted as ghostly, dark, or monstrous creatures with a supernatural sense of smell, capable of tracking spirits. Their powerful and often terrifying nature reflects Hekate's own power as a Goddess of magik and transformation. The dog was also a common animal for sacrifice to Hekate, further cementing its symbolic link to her cult.
In summary, the hounds are an essential part of Hekate's identity. They are not merely pets but active agents of her will, serving as guardians, messengers, and companions. Their presence underscores her power over the crossroads, her connection to the underworld, and her role as a powerful and often feared Goddess of the night and of magik.

Fertility spoem by mec
Seeds of life, buried deep,
Wake from your silent, slumbering sleep.
By root and bud and candle's light
Fertile dreams take wing tonight
By the new moons glow,
May fertility and creativity flow
In perfect harmony, I open to life;
Fertility is what I ask without strife
Fertile grounds, blessed by the light,
Bring forth this child, pure and bright
Fertility and pregnancy are what im spinning
I embrace the magic of new beginnings.
With one heart, one goal, we long for you
Child of the Earth, air, fire and water, come on thru
Bless my seed i ask of Earth and moon,
Bless our union, we welcome you
I am a vessel of creation.
Mother's love is my station
In the power and the love.
