Gospel Preacher, Jew for Jesus, Voice In The Wilderness

Welcome to The Remnant Rising! My name is Kelly Rago. πŸ‘‘
I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe God is One, and doesn’t need a nickname. I believe in confession and then need for daily repentance. I believe Jesus gave His life and suffered for the sins of the world, resurrected after three days, and ascended to Heaven. I believe Jesus came to call sinners to repentance, and not the self righteous. I believe in the gifts of the Spirit; miracles, signs, and wonders. I love the Word of God like it’s my bestie. I don’t take kindly to false prophets, false teachers, liars, and bullies. I love my fam in Christ like I’ve known them all my life, and I disciple and am being discipled, everyday.

The other day I posted, β€œWhoever says a version of β€˜Your enemies are being attacked by God’ is a false prophet”, and someone asked, β€œHow do you know?” I want to answer here to explain, because it’s important.

It’s not hard to discern the voice of a false prophets when you know God by His Word: His character and His instructionβ€” then you know what He’d never say.

1. We don’t see the Spirit telling the early disciples these things. This is the most clear piece of evidence against these false prophets. We either honor the Word above all, or we honor false prophets.

2. Jesus taught us to love and pray for our enemies in order to keep our hearts pure and our hands clean. So, the Spirit wouldn’t tell us our enemies were suffering for hurting us. God isn’t a gossip. Vengeance isn’t our business. And that’s not the heart posture God wants from us.

3. Jesus told us we’d be persecuted on this walkβ€” reviled, mocked, taken advantage of. He didn’t say He’d avenge us for this persecution, He said we’d be rewarded for it in Heaven. This is the walk we signed up forβ€” God isn’t our personal avenger, and this walk isn’t all about us. Learn to forgive and move on. God isn’t killing our enemiesβ€” He’s trying to save them.

4. False prophets operate from their own delusions, brokenness, or flat out demonic spirits. People who trust them have the same delusions, brokenness, and/or unclean spiritual attachments. They want us stuck in the past, in unforgiveness, anger, and more focused on enemies than on God. The antithesis of what God wants for you. This is NOT the time to look back, and that’s exactly why they’re constantly churning out messages. It’s demonic, and on purpose. They’re being used by the enemy to keep you stuck. Trust God to handle your business while you steer clear of false prophets.

We need to be wise and put 2 and 2 together. They’re not listening to the Holy Spiritβ€” they are false prophets, and just like we had to open our eyes to the truth about those who have attacked us in times past, that they know what they’re doing, that they were manipulating and intentionally hurting us, so likewise we need to open our eyes to the truth about our favorite false prophets, however nice or Christian they seem. I know it’s hard to believe, you think they’d never do that, or you feel like you know themβ€” but even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Stop giving sensationalists the benefit of the doubt. They’re supposed to be appear harmlessβ€” but they’re leading your heart into pride and hate. I promise you: forsake these idols and you’ll walk in new levels of wisdom, boldness, and strength. They’re taking more from you than you think. They’re creating strongholds you can’t even imagine. Turn back before it’s too late.

Coming into 2026: Keep your hearts pure and your hands clean so God can use you while everyone else gets caught up either being a false prophet or listening to one. Matthew 24 says they’re only going to multiply. If Jesus warned us against them, they are NOT harmless. Stay vigilant, Saints.

For some wrestling with depression, anxiety, hopelessness, and worseβ€” I challenge you: get offline for one day. It’ll seem impossible, which is already evidence of idolatry, but it’s more than that. For the spiritually sensitive, which you are, being constantly online isn’t only damaging to your spiritualβ€” but to your psychological, physical, emotional wellbeing. Don’t take my word for it. Watch how hard your flesh struggles to put it down for even one dayβ€” and then witness the sudden lightness and even joy break through as you make it through the day. It won’t be hard once you turn your phone off and get out for a while. You’re a receiver, but your signals get all clogged when you’re constantly inundated not just with what you can see as you scroll, but with what you can’t see. Interference is real. Repent, start with one day, and let the fruit of that day spur you to better regulate your internet patterns. Welcome back to freedom.
