Sista Kelly 👋 Make way, King Jesus is returning 😍 🥳

Welcome to The Remnant Rising! My name is Kelly Rago.
I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe God is One, and doesn’t need a nickname. I believe in personal confession and the need to live a surrendered life of repentance. I believe Jesus gave His life and suffered for the sins of the world, resurrected after three days, and ascended to Heaven. I believe Jesus came to call sinners to repentance, and not the self righteous. I believe in the gifts of the Spirit; miracles, signs, and wonders. I love the Word of God like it’s my bestie. I don’t take kindly to false prophets, false teachers, liars, and bullies. I love my fam in Christ like I’ve known them all my life, and I disciple and am being discipled, everyday.

Do not fear. That’s the Lord’s instruction to us, hundreds of times. He knew these days would come. He knew evil would slowly reign. He knew His people would be cast aside. He knew we’d become strangers in our own lands. It all needs to come to pass. Do not fear. That doesn’t mean be passive, or allow your faith to become shallow or lukewarm— it means keep seeking Him, keep praying for all things and all peoples, keep walking in His joy, and bring all your worries to Him. Until Jesus Himself returns, God’s people have nothing to fear. No man, no religion, no famine, no pestilence. No war, no sickness, no devil— not even death itself. This is how we fight as Christian soldiers against the true enemy, which is not flesh and blood, in a war that has already been won. Don’t you ever forget that.

Command that flesh to calm down.

Do not fear.

Isaiah 44:8 Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.

Boldly proclaim your favorite “do not fear” verses, and don’t forget to spread the word ⬇️⬇️

I don't feel defeated in watching my country be sold out. I feel sorrow, I feel some anger, but overall, my hope is in my God, not my comfort zone.

While it’s natural for us to want to hold on to yesterday, we’re a particular generation of Christians that cannot afford to say, 'Why were the old days better than these?' I was reading Ecclesiastes last night and this verse comes to heart now.

All these protests and rhetoric to keep America Christian and kick out the Muslims— it's all vanity.

It's ok for there to be a level of defeat we feel in our flesh as we see great wickedness and darkness coming over our lands— but it should drive us to our knees in mourning crying out and prophesying of Jesus return, not to the streets in self control and reliance trying to stave off what's been written for thousands of years.

Evangelize in the streets, proclaim truth— don't wage war against the flesh.

We should feel great victory in our spirit because “It is finished”- yet as our flesh is weak and tired and our eyes behold wickedness and evil closing in on us, we must use self control to contain our fight to the spiritual, not the physical.

Our plight as Christians is to evangelize and proclaim through the growing darkness, as His light in this fallen world— not to conform this world to God's kingdom; this is futile. Jesus specifically told us His kingdom is not of this world. A new Heaven, a new Earth will come, and until then, we don't make renovations in this house, we evangelize souls out of it.

I discern hidden fear in the hearts of many Christians manifesting as prideful nationalism and hateful rhetoric all because they've put their faith in man, and in a place, in that which is perishable rather than in He alone who can comfort.

We all see the world we once knew slipping away and it is not any of our prerogative to stop it from doing so.

Embrace the discomfort, recognize the evil, evangelize the harvest, but don't try to co-op Christianity at the expense of scripture, prophecy, and souls just because you're afraid to live in a world which hates you.

The West isn’t used to being the minority. Western Christians know the scriptures, that a Satanic kingdom must take power over all the world, yet it seems the idea of persecution getting so close to home makes them “rage, rage, against the dying of the light” meanwhile forgetting that they are the light— not their countries, or governments, or comfort.

We must now surrender to God, remembering Jesus’s human urge to flee Gethsemane and instead walking on to Calvary in His weakness and God’s strength, and so we must resolve to do the same.

I guess it's getting real out here, and yet this is why scripture prophesies a falling away, not a revival. Western Christians, not only in America, are trying to hold on to their safe space for as long as they can because they don't want to be the ones kicked out of a country which hates their beliefs, so they’re trying to do it to "them" first. I'm sorry— that's not the way this cookie crumbles.

Many will turn away from Jesus and walk with Him no more in favor of following the great majority on a comfortable broad path, as the true Christian path continues to become more and more narrow, and less and less agreeable with this world.

Matthew 10:22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

It's time we stop fighting this war in our flesh and remember we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Teach the people to evangelize, lead them in prayer, but don't give them the false comfort that their nationalism or protests will do anything more than waste time before Jesus comes.

Bring your valid emotions to God before you take to protesting in the streets. You’ll win no one this way, you’ll grow pride in your heart, and you’ll feel accomplished for nothing at all. Consider what is useful for God, not appeasing to your flesh.

America isn't home, and yes, it will fall. All the West will conform to create a new empire first for the coming Kingships and ultimately for the Antichrist. This world will embrace evil until the antichrist takes power, and only Jesus Himself will end it.

Fight the right war, Christians 🫂
