𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠

In Genesis 1:26, when they convened, “let us make man in our image, after our likeness”— “image” means representative. The word “tselem” for image refers to the statues they’d place around town of the kings, which held the authority and presence of the king himself. Likewise, God’s will was to make humans representatives of Himself on earth— conscious and holy, and all the things God is (though not God Himself, but representatives, likeness).

He created us with great purpose beyond tending to the garden; Adam and Eve were like dominioned principalities over the Earth He created for them. I’m not sure that’s a word but idk how else to describe it.

So when Eve steps out of the plan, her choice and not Adam’s, she’s (and man thereafter) unfit to represent God. More than that, she’s abandoned the “us” and the “them” of the likeness in which man was created. There’s unity there— total oneness with God who is one. (The us/them could be an entire Bible study unto itself).

Sin diminished unity and it diminished the purpose that came from that unity: to be God’s representatives on earth.

God comes in the likeness now of man— He reverses it— for us. He comes as the man Jesus, grows on the earth, sinless to prove in Him it’s possible to live holy, and through His blood sacrifice, He again reunites us to Himself and reinstates us to His purpose for us: now as ambassadors of Christ, the Savior of the world.

Jesus is so keen to teach us what our purpose is and what it is not, by His example. Dominion over the earth isn’t to rule the earth by iron fist, becuase God Himdelf didn’t do this, but be as representatives of God, for God, through God.

Before the fall, perhaps there was less work for us 😂
But now, we’re as vessels for God, reminding the people of the reason they were born— to be one with God, to be in purpose for God— and if it’s not yet obvious, sin has always and will always separate us from God, and from His purpose for us.

Sin destroyed the unity between God and His creation to begin with, and it required Him to personally come, because His complete sinlessness made Him fit, and He shed His blood as the sacrifice to unite “us” once again.

The perfect plan, except today many still rebel, their sin crying out, “The blood is not enough.” This is a lie though, because sin has been overcome. The flesh lies, claiming to be greater than Calvary, and Satan fans the flames of these deceptions by cementing them in false gospels.

Hebrews 6 discusses, for all humans not just Jews, the universality of the truth that if His blood wasn’t enough for you to believe in the first time, to overcome your sin, what now? We must be reasonable.

We can’t unknow what we know, Christians. For the lost there’s grace for their sin— but for we who know the truth— what more do we want? When we allow our flesh to run away with our souls, we’re denying the blood of Jesus whilst claiming to rest under it. Our very sin defies us.

It’s impossible to be reunited to a holy God while rebelling against Him, His blood, His plan, our history— it all points to holiness, restoration, and truth.

Help us Lord, not to be deceived. Help us to cry out for mercy under the weight of our sin. You’ve graced us with time, yet Your holiness will never grace us with iniquity. Help us Lord, give us eyes to see. Preach the gospel to our souls, help us Lord, to truly believe, that we may be saved.

Mount Hermon (33°N):
Where the Transfiguration took place in Matthew 17. Jesus revealed His uncreated glory as a direct prophetic strike on a historic demonic territorial foothold.

Damascus (33°N): Where a light from heaven suddenly flashed around Saul of Tarsus, Acts 9.

God used this coordinate for the most explosive, sudden apostolic turnaround in church history.

You’re not stationed here by accident. The warfare feels intense because full of the Spirit, you’re an authentic, authoritative threat to
a territorial gate.

If you were a passive believer, you wouldn't feel the resistance. You’re feeling the atmospheric friction because your presence blocks the operations of darkness.

You’re not a victim of the warfare of the 33rd parallel; you’re an ambassador of the Christ sent to occupy it.

No more playing defense against the demonic pressure of your region.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.
