On July 29, 2017, I had the honor of meeting one of the first YouTubers I ever watched, Adam the Woo.

The first video I watched was his exploration of the abandoned Nickelodeon Studios. Following his journeys ever since have been a constant joy. Even though I didn’t know him personally, he felt like a friend.

In this picture, I remember him complimenting my camera, talking about its focal length to get zoomed in photos. At the time, I was obsessed with photography in high school and it was the first time I brought my camera to Disneyland. It also happened to be the day the Disneyland train and the Rivers of America attractions reopened after the Galaxy’s Edge Expansion.

Adam’s videos enhanced my family and I’s experiences at Disney. We had the pleasure of seeing him and his friend, Jay, again on July 17th this year for Disneyland’s official 70th birthday. He was always so kind and gracious to talk to.

His wisdom and passion for theme parks, movies and travel have made a global impact that will live on and be treasured. We all dearly miss you, Adam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire community, his friends and family. ❤️ Legend ATW
