World birdwatching vlogs, tips, equipment reviews. As well as being a twitcher I am a London Black Cab driver, a powerlifter, speed cuber, and am very well travelled. 90 trips abroad and counting.

I have been taking photos for 20 years, mainly travel & street photography. In 2020 I needed a subject I could photograph at home, so putting up bird feeders and seeing what showed up was a natural choice. Wasn't long before I was hooked.

Started this channel in February 2024, after 4 years of bird watching. I felt I wanted to do more than just take photos of birds, and that video was a natural progression. I had already collected footage from my travels over the last 4 years, so had stuff to upload. Now I have started doing vlogs of days out, and when I travel I will do a vlog to help others when they go to those places.

I will also be doing equipment reviews, photography tips, and anything else I can think up.

Heading down to Old Lodge Nature reserve in Kent for the first time. I might try the YouTube live feature for the first time. Maybe in around an hour and a half once I’ve settled and in a position to film there. So that will be around 1-1 15pm UK time if you want to tune in

A new Rainham Marshes vlog with be posted at 6.30am London time tomorrow (19th). Wasn’t the most mind blowing day, but made the most of what I saw. A word of note, the boardwalk is damaged and closed before you reach the reedlings area (wall with numbers on). So you can’t get to see the reedlings, and they have no idea when or if it’ll be fixed. Meaning if you want to get to the shooting butts hide, you have to right the way around the whole reserved anti clockwise.
